Standouts imo based on this recap and partially my memory: Israel, Belgium, Norway, Greece, Portugal and the biggest classic here; France should have taken victory - the winner was really cheesy but understandable - Finland seemed like a crazy, modern mess that could have shook the contest up in a fun way. Monaco or Austria sounded like they were aiming for victory.

Greece was underrated. Mariza Koch is one of the greatest singers in Europe, she has a perfect voice and deserved at least top 5. Nice lyrics about the refugees (If you see tents on the beach, it is not a camping; it is just one word ;refugees), fantastic voice, great performance, excellent feeling. It is a shame, the juries did not vote the Greek song.

Totally agreed. The lyrics have huge depth in them. Even "Panagia mou, Panagia mou" is a call to Holy Mary. Her voice was amazing Amazing and underrated
