I don't understand why some people don't like the fact that Iceland qualified, the song is honestly a vibe to listen to. I feel like the song also shows the diversity in the Icelandic music scene. between 2019 and 2022 we've had 3 vastly different songs from Icleand, they are not afraid to take risks at their own risk of qualifying or not. Im honestly happy it qualified, and i wish them all the best in the final !!!

Moldova was a mix of two music genres (folk and rock), fun beat, and lyrics about historical brotherhood and unity between Moldova and Romania. They expressed a lot of their country, culture and history. This is what Eurovision should be about, I loved it.

They select it before the first dress rehearsal on Monday. It was a money note that is she had nailed it would have been very good in the recap. Money notes are technically the most difficult and therefore always run the risk of ending up like Albania this year. Australia 2017 is a prime example

This did not fit to the song at all... Also her vocals weren't the strongest - as we know from the national selection and the pre-parties, she can do much better. Happy for Iceland though - Icelandic language is so beautiful, the staging was so calm and atmospheric, authentic...

So heartbroken for Albania💔, I'm not quick to point fingers but the staging was just .....not for me let's put it that way. It was good but I just can't connect with it. So happy for Iceland, Switzerland, Lithuania, and Moldova like none of those were surprising in my opinion regardless of what the fandom says. I am worried though. Since Albania went with pop staging over the traditional vibe from FIK and the mv and failed to qualify, it worries me that Europe won't feel as hyped for Spain. Hope not🥶🥶🥶

Looks like you’ve made lots of new friends! And I’m betting it was super fun watching the show with all those people! At least it looks like fun anyways. I’m not unhappy with the results since only three songs I had originally picked as choices didn’t go through (Albania, Austria, Slovenia were what didn’t go through and Netherlands, Portugal, Lithuania were what did that I didn’t choose). I still like the songs that took their place and enjoyed those song’s performances during the show. I mean whenever I was picking the ten from the list I went back and forth between these three songs before they began announcing and I just left my list alone at that point. So I might’ve gotten all ten songs chosen had I just made up my mind on these last three. LOL Honestly, after voting in the American Song Contest, I’m glad I didn’t get/have to vote in Eurovision because as we see from this I can be indecisive about songs, especially when the performances are so good and wow did these artists bring it their all! It was awesome to watch and yet again had many “wow” moments which reminds me why I love Eurovision so much!!! Thanks for sharing your experience there in Turin! I enjoy seeing what it’s like for fans there! It really is like the Olympics for music!!!!! And can I just say I love the set up where you’re at. The screen is high up enough so that everyone can see regardless of where they’re sitting. I’ve been to things like this here, but for smaller events, and one of my complaints was that the screens weren’t elevated enough so people further back could see or weren’t elevated enough that when tall people stood up it blocked part of the lower portion of the screen. So it’s just nice to see it done right there (though honestly I wouldn’t expect anything less from those that help make Eurovision happen each year; they know what they’re doing).

You don't have to pay but you can't take any food or drinks with you and the queue is huge but the experience is really worth it, much better than in the arena in my opinion
