Ukraine is one of my favorite countries in the contest. Almost every year they deliver quality and style. Most of the beautiful eurodivas come from Ukraine (try Ukraine 2008, Shady Lady by Ani Lorak) and of course the first victory of Ukraine in 2004 (Wild Dances by Ruslana)

Ok, next you have to watch Alyosha - Sweet People. She is a rock!👍 And don't be surprised about powerful Ukrainian voices. We were called the most singing nation in Europe. (By who, I have no a clue, but we have lots of bands, singer's in Ukraine, and every year these numbers are growing like mushrooms after raining). Sometimes, to win and compete in our Song Competition like X-Factor, the Voice, Eurovision Contest is so hard. There is a very high concurrence.

The thing is different countries in Europe take Eurovision differently. I heard from my friends that in central Europe its more of a huge ridiculous gay party every year. Meanwhile in Eastern Europe is means way more. I know for a fact that in Ukraine is a matter of national pride. And I'm happy because we can see during final show both very beautiful performances and very funny stuff as well.

She took the third place! Check out this video, where Zlata performed on the Voice in Ukraine: m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYGkl3lsm52ArbM And the star trainers are: Tina Karol (ESC 2006, 7th place), Potap, Jamala (ESC winner 2016), Sergey Babkin (candidate for ESC 2018, didn't qualified). Zlata said she wanted to support people, who are performing today and is also wants to be a trainer too, so she agreed to help Potap (Alexey Potapenko) during the show, but they didn't showed her so far. The Voice final is this Sunday. I appreciate your attention at the Eurovision, I love it! Just check the video, you don't need to react;)

Hi Jake, I love your facial reaction videos😊 You should react to Ukraine’s Eurovision song 2007 “Lasha Tumbai”. By the way, the expression “Lasha Tumbai” does not make any sense in Russian, Ukrainian, English or whatever the language. I wonder, if you hear instead “Russia goodbye” as everyone is hearing there😊
@jannadark81006 жыл бұрын
yeah, he have to watch Verka :) I wonder what his expression will be when he'll see our drag queen
@l.u.78346 жыл бұрын
It's Mongolian. Lasha Mumbai means butter and some action what you do with that, but I don't remember a verb, unfortunately. It's true Mongolian expression.
@evgeniiae48716 жыл бұрын
Janna Dark, I do not think Verka is a drag queen. I think he is a talent in some way. A bit crazy but talent. Btw, I am from Russia, that means it is not “our drag queen”, but simply “drag queen” or “queen”😉
@evgeniiae48716 жыл бұрын
L.U. Oh yeah, Mongolian... Of course, it is not😉 I just used my google translator, it means NOTHING in Mongolian😃 And if it would be, it would be so boring. “Russia goodbye” sounds way better even if hidden under “Lasha Tumbai”😃

Hey man! LOVE your reactions! Just found your channel a couple of days ago and watched a bunch! Here's something I would love you to react to The Hardkiss "Helpless" from Ukraine's national selection Finale from 2016, they lost to Jamala whom I was rooting for, but I think we would've won with them as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y33SYoJuZct_jKs Also Jamala - Zamanyly - Interval Act - First Semi-Final - 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, it's a truly haunting performance that i personally loved a lot. kzbin.info/www/bejne/r5yzgKyXm6-WgZo One more thing, I would love to see your reactions to The Voice from around the world, there are some true gems out there. One of my favorite performances is Вера Кекелия - Ой ти, Грицю, it's a modern take on a Ukrainian folk song, a rather dark one, about a witch girl whose guy fell in love with someone else so she poisoned him :D kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHmvd6Nqgcejeqs Sending lots of love from Kyiv!
