For 2004 it was very revolutionary. Ruslana’s voice is so strong although she’s dancing, no autotune, such great costumes. Still like it A LOT in 2018

Ruslana is one of the first ukrainian singer who had us to love our native language and our country after we got Independence from Soviet occopatin 1918-1991 and the pre-final freedom we have got in 2013-2014 after Maydan. And now we need to stop Russia agressin on Donbass to get total freedom from ex-big-brother. And now I listen only ukrainian music and ukranian singers! I love it so much! Not really. The struggle for rights and freedoms, against the Soviet heritage, continued for all subsequent years. 1991 - revolution on granite (Maidan 1). 2004 - The Orange Revolution (Maidan 2). 2014- The Revolution of Dignity (Euro-Maidan 3). And our war is not over until Russia is destroyed.

apparently, also in regard to the quality of Ukraine's entries, with Romania, Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan failing to qualify this year, Ukraine is the one of only two countries left to have perfect attendance in the Grand Final since the semi-finals were introduced and this is right from winning the very first year the semis were introduced (2004). The only other country with perfect attendance is Australia, but this was only their fourth year as opposed to Ukraine's 14th in the semi-finals era. I see you've already reacted to another iconic Ukrainian entry, "Dancing Lasha Tumbai," but I'm still working my way down my Watch Later list so i haven't seen it yet. Hope you liked it, cuz it's another of my all time favorites lol. Other standout Ukrainian entries are Shady Lady (2008) and Gravity (2013)
