I always enjoy listening to your content! I drive a Fisker ocean ultra that has a $60,000 sticker and I purchased it for $$31,000 brand new. I literally have a ChargePoint station 2 miles from my house and it’s always free. It’s awesome to drive! I love the quality and looking forward of having it for many moons 🌒

I think the problem will now be, how do you recover from an Ocean that is, clearly, worth more than the fire sale price, to bring any profitability for anyone buying them. I agree, great SUV which I ALMOST bought BUT how can they get the prices where they need to be? Will anyone go out to buy one at even $50k when they are now less than $30k. I can't see that happening.

Very well stated, this is actually my biggest question. My thought would be to release the next model at MSRP to make up the steep discounts on the Ocean. I would still buy an Ocean because right now the value is absolutely there. I’m doubling down on my bet with the stock, I see this as a Hertz story. Again, this is just my opinion from driving the vehicle and seeing the product. Thank you for the thought out reply.

@@AutoNatics One additional problem was that the original $69k for the Ocean One was, in my opinion, over priced. This is why I say this. I looked at competitors and they were prices around the same MSRP. HOWEVER, those are from well know brands, BMW, Audi, etc. So for Fisker, an unknown brand, to come in at the same price, again my opinion, was not realistic. In fact Fisker was not an unknown brand if you remembered the Fisker Karma which also was not successful, in fact less successful. So with a new brand, that failed just a short 11 years ago, they were over priced to begin with.
