One thing people has to understand that.. Fisker the man is getting a lot richer than the last time he's doing Karma. He syphon a lot of investors money into himself and family by putting them in control of company. I won't be surprise if Fisker will start new company in a few years because bankruptcy turn out to be very profitable for him

I'd do it even if I only get a couple million out of it. However, I need +10 charisma just to get people to lend me a dollar. So, millions won't happen for me.

@@thdjjfsfh It's his 2nd time so he's getting better at it. I saw a fisker owner youtuber dissect the company. He's set up 2 tiers corporates structure, Fisker inc and Fisker automotive. This completely shield his asset from the recent bankruptcy. So, the only one who taking hit are investors and shareholders

He is a good dude. I was around employee 30 and worked with Henrik. The issue was his horrible wife Geeta. She was one of the worst person I’ve ever met. She would scream at employees in the office and had no clue what she was doing from a management perspective. I feel bad for Henrik because he is a hard worker and a brilliant designer.

This should be illegal. No CEO should be able to walk away from a bankrupt company richer than when he started. This currently occurs at Lucid where the CEO is making millions in salary and every vehicle sold loses $100K.

Correct. Just like we expect a ship’s captain to go down with the ship so should a CEO.

Fisker is an excellent example of Elon’s quote : “Prototypes are easy, Production is hard”, playing out in real life. Yes, the cars looked good and the promises were impressive but in the end how did the product fare in mass production??? Tesla vehicles may not stop the show with their styling but guess what? They work! In fact they work to the tune of the car of the year honours (2023 Model Y) and keep getting better with actual OTA updates. In order to survive, car companies like Lucid and Fisker ought to focus on delivering solid cars that work while making at least $10/car. Once this is accomplished we can talk about styling and cool looking spacer wheels.

Hi my dad owns the Ocean and let me tell you it’s an utter piece of garbage ; literally nothing works and the technology is broken , I’ve been trapped inside the car on a 90 degree day . I never use it to say the least , even the pedals and throttle barely respond

Look at the automotive industry of a century ago. For some reason we are repeating history. Some new tech thrives, most goes under. I see the legacy launching their Viking and LaSalle makes that go just a few years.

As an Aptera reservation holder and investor, I worry about the same failure. Other than Tesla, no other US EV start-up has succeeded. Hopefully, Rivian finds a pathway to success.

Guaranteed dozens of people still became millionaires off of taxpayers' money. We sure dumb here in America, making people rich off of bankrupt failed companies. Possibly 100's of companies per year going bankrupt or reorganizing, but people are getting rich. What a dumb government we have . It's no wonder we are 36 trillion in debt.

I worked for Fisker in 2018 when they just started back up. I was around employee 30. Fisker’s wife Geeta was a HORRIBLE person. She would scream at employees, and had no clue what she was doing. She was President and COO. No surprised it failed. I left along with a bunch of other employees over it. I feel bad for Henrik thought, he was a great person.

Sorry to hear of your bad experience. Fisker is a simp, he should have kept Geeta out of Fisker business. As a former employee do you believe Fisker would have succeeded if someone competent was hired? Please make an ai video about experience.

Do you think Fisker could have survived with better decisions, or was failure inevitable? NO. Only Tesla and BYD have managed to make a profit selling production levels of EVs, and BYD has a huge advantage of the PRC subsidies throughout their supply chain. Even Legacy auto companies can't seem to ramp EVs to production due to high costs of assembly, even though they have been doing volume production of ICE cars for decades. EVs are hard to produce at scale and low cost. I predict all the EV startups will fail unless they partner with a large OEM, and even that doesn't guaranty success.

Yes, there was something very special Fisker had coming to do with the battery and motor, but it was not quite ready. If he made a partnership which I believe he did, it means he will be back soon.
