For bigger events do you link more speakers together? If so, how do you connect/daisy chain another or more speakers to the 2 Ev50m speakers?

Hello, Yes, I would say the max I would do its to link two systems standing next to each other. Meaning your FOH stack consists of two 50M's on the left and two 50m's on the right. I this scenario i would just use the QuickSmart link via cat5e cable. This speaker will then sync up and act as one larger system. If you need something bigger than that size, I would probably look at the LA108's + Sub.

@Wouter.ErweeTech Thanks for the reply! That sounds amazing. If I have a EV 12inch speaker, can I set up that speaker to the EV50M for added loudness? If so, how would I go connecting that up?

I have done 175 people and it was perfect. Speakers can do more than 100 for sure.

I was wondering about that. I've heard of DJ's using them for around 200 people. How do they sound for a 175? Thanks.

@michaelhernandez6613 you aren't going to kill the crowd with sound, but you will give them a perfect level of sound with solid base. I had people coming up to me talking about how clean and clear the sound was. These are people who are around SRX speakers all the time and said the vocals sounded better

I have done just under 200 more than 10 times with the speakers and everybody is extremely shocked with the sound quality

I've received my pair of Evolve 50s last week and just set them up for a gig tomorrow. When doing a soundcheck, I though "damn, where is the bass?". I have to put the sub level at at least +5db to even notice a gentle bass. When leaving it at zero db = nothing! I was really surprised about that. Am I missing something?
