None of the large car makers are producing a sensible EV that delivers on the promise of a renewable energy fueled car.
I have a design idea that may help. A solar panel that can be retrofit to any EV that can charge your EV even while driving or not in use, which is about 22 hours per day. The Solar Panel has always been produced flat, because it is the easiest way. I have discovered a way to use nature to increase the efficiency of any Solar Cell using design cues taken from the ALGAE bloom. Many pioneers have come before me and have led my thinking to offer the world this simple, easy to manufacture design.
I will begin a series of build videos that will explore how you can build your own.
Plugging in your EV will become near impossible very soon, unless you can charge at home. A charging system at home costs around $10,000 above the cost of the car.
The Electric Grid is simply not equipped to handle so many new EV. We are burning more coal to make up for the shortfall in demand. Industry is making bad decisions for our planet. Governments go along with anything they can tax HEAVILY.
