You're gonna get me to buy this dang Wraith Kit I keep seeing and hearing so much about. I am anxious to see the third video with the Upgrade Progress. Will keep watching and keep up the good videos. I only recently got into R/C and have already picked up a couple of tips from your episodes. The Rock Crawlers I have are nothing like this Wraith. I want to get into Scale now instead of just ROCK CRAWLING.

@CromagnonCommando HA! Damn I need to make some commission from Axial for selling kits for them..lol Yea the Wraith is cool for sure. It's kinda scale, but it's kinda more of a basher, but it's 100% fun. I was actually thinking of shooting vol3 this weekend if it's nice out. I got all my links in, I just need to install them.I appreciate you watching and I'm glad I can help out here and there:) Get a scaler, you wont regret it!, that is unless the wife finds out!

@450hp202turbo Good stuff to know! Thanks for sharing that. I hoping with a properly setup slipper I wont have any transmission problems since that's what it's there for. I'll post up if I have any issues.

with brushless you always gear by temp, but you can use a chart to get at a starting point. This is my friend Josh's thread on RCC. It's pretty much the Wraith Bible. rccrawler*com/forum/axial-wraith/346212-choosing-motor-esc-your-wraith-gearing-added.html replace the * with a .

@Hillingdonway The stock pins will not work. The MIP's are much more heavy duty so they (the grub screws) are much larger. I had the exact same thought and was dissapointed when they didnt work. As for tools these i'm using here are Dynamite. They have a hardened tips which have been holding up pretty well to me torquing on them. Stripping grubs probably means the tool you're using is worn or doesn't fit properly. I have never stripped one, just snapped tips off of allen drivers.

Thanks evol! Nice vid. Could you use the stock axial through pins and shave the length to stop them from bottoming out on the mip's? Almost a half lock? What tools are you running there for the pinion grub? You mentioned torquing down on it. I've always had problems stripping the grub. Any thoughts?

@TheFordf650 They are made by Associated. I picked mine up at my local Hobby Town, but just Google Associated Factory team hex driver bit. I've seen them from amain hobbies to ebay. They are like 25 bucks but an investment well worth the money!
