Thank you. I've goty brothers S.S. S&W 41 Magnum that I bought ofg him about 30 years ago. I just learned so much to look for on things that can be wrong.

Before the CZ-Colts started to appear, Colt Diamondback .22LR's were expensive and hard to come by. During that time I came across a Diamondback .22LR that had some "warts" to it, but the price persuaded me to take it home with me. The sights were modified with a rear white outline blade and a front blade red insert. The action was also modified by an old trick of bending the mainspring. The "V" spring and rear sight blade were easy replacements but the front sight blade replacement took a little more effort. The gun now appears as it did when it left the factory.

Honest gunsmithing knowledge and experience offered for free and people have the nerve to complain about it… Thankless voyeurs. 👎🏻 I really appreciate you making the video. Thank you.

Great video, I’m currently looking to expand my collection and have yet to own a revolver… Honestly figured I’d start with a Python and build from that…

What a shame I don't live in the United States. That python is exactly my revolver, and it is in perfect condition except that the inside of the grip is starting to rust, and you can already see black spots that have damaged the nickel finish. There is no one to do this restoration in this country where I live.

Great firearm, for sure. I prefer my S&W model 19 357 though. Model 29 is my favorite 44 for obvious reasons. 😆

@@OOICU812 It's not that I want to live in the U.S., but I don't know of any other country where they do a serious and technical nickel plate restoration

The stores I shop at are happy to let you check. No way I'd shell out 1500 without checking the action out.
