North have next to no draft hand and a big interest in Trainor. Expect Richmond to trade for pick 2 and give up maybe 11, 20 and 23. Allows Richmond to take O’Sullivan and Lalor while still taking 5-6 players this draft whilst more than likely trading 24 into a next year 1st rounder. Allows north to get Trainor as well as the 2 other late first rounders to add to the experience they added.

All Melbourne needed was another dumb trade like the Grundy trade and we will end up at the bottom four in the blink of an eye. I give it 3 years and we will be a favorite for last position. And there just isn't enough talent in those 2 years for us to win a GF cos of Neil Bullen has gone. Therefore, it's like another Grundy trade. Bottom of the ladder here we come:) The problem with trading a future 1st rounder is. I don't think we are immune from the bottom of the ladder for next year. And if that happens, we have handed over a number 1 draft pick to the Bombers. And if that happens, we get locked in in about three years away. And apparently this is a weak draft list.
