I saw this video in the right time. I was on the phone a few minutes ago with someone who owns a company, he saw my work on Instagram, and he loved it so much, so he called me. Long story short, after a long talk I was kinda afraid to let him down after he offered me a chance to work with him from my city, and I kind of made some excuses, but at the same time, I wanted to accept it, and thank god he was so nice with me and he insisted to give me a chance to work, so I took. After that I said to myself, I could've tell him I'll give it a shot instead of showing some excuses, and then I saw this vide, so this whole video is a really improtant video to me. Everytime I go through something and then I see a new upload from you, I feel like this is a message from god to me. Thank you god. #BTA133 Last year I was shocked by all the changes in my country and at the workplace and I started complaining and pointing the finger and I was really unhappy because I knew things could be better until I realized that whatever I was doing wasn't making it any better. So, from that moment more and more I stopped making excuses. I know I can't fix everything, but I focus more and more on the things I'm responsible for and try to keep myself accountable. I'm not there yet, but I'm getting there. Bottomline complaining, negativity, excuses are all things that stifle you. They don't add one bit to your success.

My whole life from when I can remember when everything started to get hard I would give up and give myself excuses to why I couldn't go through that and I'm 24 now and I've been doing it everyday you can including today and I keep asking myself why why am I not on your show why am I not too successful speaker that I know I'm capable of being specially when I am obsessed with the thought of changing lives in the most accurate way. I hesitate anytime I want to make one of these videos all of the videos that you have on your KZbin channel will one day be me and honestly I wish I was telling you this through a video or I had want to show you but my excuses get in the way. Every day morning and night I watch all of these videos that inspire me and it's the biggest obsession and I can remember having and comprehending what people say and what I read was always the biggest issue I had along with focus.. but I didn't have to make myself when it came to this it came natural to me now explaining it to others does not it's hard but I'm willing try until it works. And I will meet you one day!

Hi there Evan, an absolute CHARM u r in the self development world ... Thank u ... I find myself to be quite ambitious and hate settling for mediocrity PLUS am driven by honesty to people, in my medical field ... It's been years now since my graduation and because of challenging qualifying exams abroad, that require time and having my family as a higher priority I've been delayed, yet am still working towards my goal... My issue is I don't want to use the excuses I just mentioned because THEY WILL NOT STOP ME. However, I find myself having to use them to explain to people why am not just having a regular job as a doctor or why it's been this long with my studies ... I mean does that count as making excuses ... People around me, expect a graduate doctor to just work and am pursuing a training position only available to me abroad after passing those time consuming exams ...

I think what I'm asking here is ... what makes an excuse an excuse ? ... someone can take a long time to achieve their goal because of valid reasons despite doing his best ... when do these reasons count as excuses ??? it's not people's judgement, it's my own self consciousness !! so how can I know am not simply making excuses ??

I liked CT Fletcher, The Barrack O'bama one, and the Veynerchuck one about no excuses... I'm filling my life with self pity, excuses, blaming it all on my failings in the past, and then just getting depressed more, feeling like a looser, as if I can not be anything else. It is taking every bit of sanity to just get through a day and not spend 95% hating, self-loathing, critising myself, because I am so scarred that if I dont destroy myself at every inch, someone will beat me to it and then it will hurt more. I will watch this video a lot over the next few weeks, trying to get it into my head and change my sinking ship. Thanks for the Video, it helps at this time that im freaking out a bit about who and what I am not, and who I want to be. I liked one of the early clips, that said rich people/entrepreneurs have one thing in common, they dont complain and they are optimistic about their future. I need to think about that a lot and try to be optimistic, so that is why I am going to watch this over and over so I can get these words imprinted into my head and start thinking in more positive circles and cut back on the excuses.
