Sorry but I can’t agree with her this time. She’s talking about not liking reissuing the same thing twice but we keep getting versions and remakes of the same thing since 2003. Wish she would drop more material like Lana Del Rey. Lana seems to drop something new so often and keep her style and timelessness. I know she’s an artist and all that but it’s also your job. Some people gotta show up everyday to work. Shouldn’t an artist drop new music every so often? You bring us up Amy and you keep us inspired and your absence is truly making a hole and it’s mark. Bring back the magic to mainstream music. You got something many artists lack I can’t explain, but we need your magic!

bicbic9494 I really do believe that a new evanescence or Amy Lee album with new material would change the music industry again, if done properly. I can’t believe we still haven’t gotten Your Love or some of the best songs have been hidden like the Unknown song they played at Vino’s. I’ve been searching for music with the same magical feel and depth to evanescence but it’s impossible to find!

bicbic9494 first of all, synthesis is a totally different album compared to all her previous songs. Some on that album are new and some are remakes. Bring me to life is on there because that's how she wanted the song to be, not the way it is on the Fallen album. She's a free woman now, she's not stuck with the same record label company that she had at the beginning

Every song on Synthesis except for two is “new” and then every other song is the same just stripped down to simple cinematic nuances and loops I could have created on Logic. It’s 2018 and we get only two new songs since 2011?... and what difference does it make knowing she’s artistically free from a label if she doesn’t even use that freedom to write new material? Moving on without her magic I guess, and hoping someone will be born with her similar vocal presence. I don’t want to be stuck in 2003 though. Bye Felicia.

While her voice is good. I think her technique is not the best and she has a hard time with hitting certain notes at times.

I agree tbh. Singing and playing piano isn't easy either. I play piano too so K know how difficult it is. I love evanescence, but was never too crazy about their lives. I love lithium , but hearing her sing it live...yeah no thanks. I feel terrible saying that because I love so many evanescence songs , but it is what it is.
