She isn’t back. She hasn’t returned. Shes always been around, performances, tours, solo work, recent albums. Shes always been around. Our queen is “immortal”
@jorgepalma70965 жыл бұрын
That's what I've been saying for years haha she has never stopped, she ended 2012 tour, in 2013 got in a legal battle with her exlabel, then did the Paula Cole benefit show for Restore NY, then got pregnant and meanwhile wrote with Dave Eggar teh Aftermath EP in 2014, in 2015 they cameback as a band playing live shows, released the Recover EP and recorded Speak to Me song and then Evanescence Deluxe Boxset came out in 2016 among more touring a live song called Take Cover, the Dream Too Much EP made for her song and family, then 2017 they started touring South America, Europe, Speak to Me was released with a music video, among Love Exist and by the end of the year Imperfection and the whole Synthesis album. 2018 Worldwide touring with Synthesis Hi-Lo music video and the summer with Lindsey Stirling was amazing. Last year they spend it writting songs, touring around U.S and Europe and released The Chain. This year they put out this video and new touring with Within Temptation, several festivals are already schedule for them and the new album comes out. I wrote a lot but in a few words she never stopped working since 2010 when their 3rd album writting began to now.

I played songs from Amy's children's album to my baby when he was almost a month old. He smiled with his eyes closed. And I got emotional that I could now show my child music from when I grew up. So many artists touch our lives with their songs and many memories came to my mind while showing my son evanescence and other songs. Really makes you realize how much you've overcome and that the next generation is here to see the world just like you did. Now we have the chance to make their childhood better than what we went through, as they can like the same music we did but have more positive memories of those songs we used to hold us down

Doro Pesch. No knocking on Amy Lee but it is a bit close minded to not acknowledge the probable hundred well known women with equally powerful vocals through the history of Rock. I mean, listen to Jinjer, the singer's range live is genuinely unbelievable. Depends what you consider a range of 'female' vocals, of course. Demons can also be female. 🤣

You are more confident about that than I am. For as much guitar strumming as I saw, the guitar was lower in the mix than I expected it to be, and the drums were waaaaay louder than I expected them to be. Hell, the orchestration had more volume than the guitar. Hopefully that's just this song and/or my ears. And hopefully this lineup lasts longer than one album.
