Killing Oryx in 2015 felt amazing and gave me the best experience. Now slaying the Taken King in 2022 and getting touch of malice first try gave me that same feeling. I thank bungo for making this raid

Honestly? I wish that there was a post-raid mission, where you go explore the dreadnought/raid zones to re-gather parts of Touch of Malice and then Eris would rebuild it… instead of it being a random drop.

@@johanruiz6661 I mean it could, imagine you go to the moon and talk to Eris, she notes that with the Dreadnought being in view once again she asked whatever happened to Oryx's heart in Touch of Malice she made all those years ago... Only for her to realize it was destroyed in the red war with the old tower. She feels disturbed by the thought Oryx's heart is Mia, so she then requests you go to the old tower and wander the courtyard for it only to find a shard of it. You take it back and she's now concerned, so she tells you that Oryx could be being revived by Savathún's brood on the Dreadnought and to go investigate and stop them if they're there. You complete Court of Oryx and are teleported, not to the jump puzzle, but to Oryx's old throne room from KF campaign finale, with a shade of Oryx revived from his heart and instead of Oryx's shade as we know it, its a hybrid between raid Oryx and Shade/Campaign fights and you eventually take down the shade, however the heart is drained from its original taken essence. You take it to Eris who makes the Touch as a relic originally since it doesn't have it's full power, you instead regain the full power via a sacrifice, *New mission, Kill the Shade of Siblings bond* it'd be a special mission where it's a 2v1 with Oryx and Savathún both fighting you one after another like the Bond Brothers strike in D1. Ending in you ripping both their darkness essence out and recharging the touch with taken malicious essence, to bring touch of Malice to full power.

I’m glad they fixed the wrongs of this raid. It is finally good and enjoyable. Although I do feel like the stand on a plate mechanics will forever haunt this raid, the only reason it isn’t top 3 ever is bc of plates :(

Important note for golgaroth ‘corrupted light’ debuff is that you can stand next to the totem and you will deal damage. Also you enter a throne room from the back and go to the throne that is in the front and center of the room.

We ran out of time on our day one experience, which we knew going into it that was going to happen. About 7 hours in half our team had to bail. But we finished all the way up to normal oryx. Which felt good.

I found something out for anyone if they want to do this during Oryx encounter in the raid but if you have one person with Burning Maul and you get the Taken Dome attack and the person with Burning Maul gets placed in their first.... have them pop their super with their heavy slam after Oryx slams and that causes the shade Oryx to be stunned

If I may share a little bit of my experience with my Day 1 King’s Fall with my fireteam. So keep in mind that 5 of 6 members of our fireteam are on PC (I’m the only one on Xbox and we communicate via Discord). I don’t know how this happened, but my audio was so distorted that any audio cues that were given were not heard. It could happen just from firing several shots from my Fatebringer. After Day 1, it was fixed.

I think Crota was the original “Final Stand”. Technically he never had any mechanics for it but when he reached 15%hp he would enrage and continually summon the oversoul until you wiped or killer him.

Elysium can be best described as rising from death to achieve victory. I was watching the co-stream when Elysium won, and with how tense the entire thing was and all the ups and downs we were experiencing... Watching them come from nowhere once again to claim victory was a spectacle to behold. A new king has risen.
