It simply means that this speedrun is apart of the category that all the other speedruns , That used the canister duplication glitch whilst a new category will stand for non-exploit used runs. It’s not unbeatable in the sense of legitimate runs.

Absolutely love the video, great work! Sub with bells on for sure So with the patch completely changing how to speed run it does it still even count as the WR? Not to take away from their performance because it was absolutely insane but considering a huge fundamental part of the run is quite literally not possible is that really even fair to further attempts? Like maybe it's just locked in as Pre-Patch WR and then a new WR race under the new changes being a separate one? It just seems weird if the patch somehow were to just not affect future attempts. Granted I don't follow speed runs as much as other people do so maybe that's just an odd thought from someone who isn't as well knowledged on the speed run specific things

I feel like they got rid of the dupe glitch so cause some people were soft locked after doing the dupe beating the 3 waves in the church and not getting knocked and completing the easter egg. I myself got locked out 3 times in a row 6 times total

there are different categories of runs and records. normally a speed runners stream will tell you the type of run their doing. can be anything from hlitchless to w glitches and gums-or no gums

I wouldn't say they are lame if I'm gonna be honest I think they are the best to watch very entertaining but it isn't around for as long unfortunately so that sucks
