Is that the aluminum starphonic? I tried to pay attention to the heads but my mind kept thinking that snare sound for some reggae lol great sounding kit

Yes it is. I tuned it quite high pitch in order to avoid too much buzzing snare on toms. Maybe that was too much. 😂

I love those heads, but after I got Tama starclassic walnut/birch I can't use coated. The wood grain is so nice I don't want to not see the drum lol.
