I have a Phantomgogo R1 36v scooter. When I tested the 5v red wire coming out of the controller I found that the 5 volt Red Wire is pushing 17.44 volts. I am afraid of connectiing the.controller to the throttle because I do not want to damage the throttle. Is this high voltage normal or is it a defect? Will it destroy my throttle?

Pas has many colors.. black brown, yellow, and black green yellow.. makes confusion..

I have burnt my DMS wires on my controller I would like to disregard having a screen altogether for the time being anyway. Can I run my controller without display and just hook up ignition wire to a standard on/off switch that should be possible right? I know I just watched u do it but urs has no display output.

Yes for sure, all Display controllers can work without factory Diasplay...

EV Customs ...my custom Ebike has a 12 amp flex volt battery with a "makeshift" circuit protection wiring [fused] ...how much Amp(fused) protection is necessary for a dedicated [48 volt to 52 volt system] -at [one] 12 Amp/60 volt running power management; ...also, how much for [two] 12 amp/60 volt active batteries, powering a 250/ 350 bafang front hub... ...can I volt to 1000 watt running with such configuration???... 😅

Well another PAS problem. My Controller Red, Black, Bluishgreen and PAS is brown, yellow, black. Tried hooking up the 2 diff ways with blk to blk. Sensor works nothing from motor and when have on hit blk to blk motor gets power. Is this just bad sensor? I can't find any sensors with this same exact wiring as controller of course.

The PAS sensor connects to the PAS wires on the controller. That's obvious but how do you enable or disable the PAS function as well as set the PAS level? My motor controller, like the example you used here, does not have connections for a display.

Controllers without display have only one mode PAS assistant..

When I try to use my ebike now the wheel goes the wrong way, and it's the rear so when I try to use the ebike will out power the bike will peddle forwards but when power is on the wheel only turn when you peddle backwards and when power is pushed to the wheel it goes backwards at full power, and it has a 1000w motor so it's a bit scary I nearly broke my foot the bike doesn't have reverse can you please help or give me a few pointers.. ?

I'm putting a new controller on my bike and I'm unsure of which wires match. Black and green are common and remaining 3 aren't the corresponding colors.

You must have also power wires for hall sensors

I think my throttle is faulty is there a way to bypass throttle or make the motor turn without throttle to test it? (can I put voltage on the white signal wire?)

You can bypass the throttle if you short wires (red +) with signal (green or white), but be careful because the motor will be run on full speed..

Throttle uses Hall Effect (magnet moving past a voltage). The white is the feedback from the throttle. The red is V and the black is ground. Measure the feedback as you move the throttle. If no feedback, look for the open circuit or Amazon.com a new one.

I have an electric bike, it has a switch on the battery which is under my sead, in the handle bar I can't switch the battery on and off, it only can change the speed of the electric, it has 3 speed choose on it, if I just want to paddle the bike without the electric, it is very hard for me to reach the switch on the battery, how can I add a switch on and off on the handle bar, then I can choose use paddle or electric when I was ridding on my bike. please let me on this question, thank you so much.

Hi... you can buy one handle-switch and connect them i parallel with your battery power switch, to activate or deactivate the battery from handle.

All very clever flashy graphics and video! But you don't actually explain anything so pointless! Sorry, not your fault but I am so fed up with the numerous KZbin videos claiming to give simple instructions on how to connect up battery - controller - throttle - ignition? But every video, set of instructions seems to give different explanation of wire colour/sequence! And when you've burnt out a controller or seen your ignition switch start smoking as you connect it up it's really not funny anymore!

Hi there, i have a big problem an i cant solve , i have a e scooter have wires from steer possible the trottle light and battery lever indicator and power button and from bottom cames another wires possible from the brushless dc controller , the color of the cables are :4 reds (2 up 2 down), 4 blacks (2 up 2 down), 4white(2 up 2 down), 4 green(2 up 2 down) ,2 blues (1 up, 1 down),1 pink or soft brown (down) and 1 yellow (up) , can somebody help me ?
