Loot fairy said yes on that one! They earned it though, hell of a play. As well as setting up a safe bookmark, you can also set a perch on the exit wormhole. In the same way you'd make a safe bookmark while in warp, for a perch you have the bookmark window pulled up then hit Submit when your distance to the destination is less than 8000km. That way you can warp to your perch, see if there's anyone sitting on it, then warp in at zero and mash that Jump button. Also extremely useful for lots of other scenarios where you'd want to warp in right on top of an unsuspecting ship...

My corpmate lost 12bil in 15 minutes. He was rattling with 3 marauders in c4 and suddenly a hole opened and a bunch of drekavacs and leshaks came in, tackled all his marauders and destroyed them and his imps

Ouch yeah it hurt. Wormholes end up being high stakes winners take all environments and I love it. Lots of money to be made lots of money to be lost too.

Definitely! I’ve made way more than I’ve lost, so that’s always a bonus! This time it just didn’t go my way, but cannot win them all.

If you want to mine in absolute safety (which doesn't exist, but as much as possible) you can use Nomad implants, which increase your agility. With those you can fit a Venture/Prospect to align in under 2s, making it nearly impossible to catch (unless you are afk). I normally use those when using faction modules, plus a Burst Jammer for last resort.

It’s something that I will definitely look into, recently haven’t been doing an awful lot of mining, but I will keep that in mind for next time!

Dont sit on warpin point in gas. Never warp directly to exit. Allways have eyes. Be inconsistant with your timing. Asume you are ALWAYS being watched.

You could have still escaped, when you landed on the bubble and cloaked up, you weren't decloaked, you could have turn your MWD and fly off into the gate or any direction oposite to the Sabre. But you were typing instead of doing that. :P

Because my headset had died, they only way I could communicate was through typing. Tbh at the end of the day, I’m much more experienced and have a lot more disposable isk than the guy I was playing with, so I was more concerned about him rather than my losses.

@@Expedishun yeah, I realized you done it to help your friend, was just pointing out you could have still escaped in that situation. Also I always always cloak in warp, when traveling in lowsec or nullsec, but especially in nullsec and WH with bubbles. At least you don't let them know you are coming into their trap. ;)

But I also realize your friend was in a Venture so he couldn't do it and you were more worried about him than yourself. Which I understand being a veteran player myself and ingame rich, we just don't care about losses that much.

So from experience with being hunted down in a prospect like this. (I think there's a video a few weeks ago in NS with this, however I was cloaked already) Should you be caught in an interdiction sphere, you have very few moments to act, he cannot lock onto you, double click anywhere, activate your microwarp drive and then cloak, change direction and ensure he does not get within your 2.5k decloak range, then warp off to wherever. Do not activate your cloak before your MWD otherwise you don't get your chance to run, if you really want to dont even warp off and slowly crawl to the wormhole cloaked.

Ore scoops are not 2x Yield, They are 0% gas loss. So more time on the cloud but more money made.

0% gas loss, technically means double yield compared to normal gas scoops, which effectively means half the time spent to fill up the mining hold.

Yes, 0% waste, but also around 33% more yield. So you mine faster and more quantity.
