For Blood Raiders i use a Typhoon Fleet Issue with cruise missiles. The hull gives bonuses to missile damage and application and it has 150m3 drone bay and 125mb bandwidth which makes it highly effective. Missiles for the battleships (4 volleys per battleship) and 5 Curator II for everything else. As for tank, the armor is already strong against EM and thermal, Blood Raiders damage of choice and while staying at 70km away from them, only the Blood Raiders Popes can reach that far. Works like a charm.

A really versatile hull, we used it for some damn fun BS fleets in the Imperium! The Cruise Missile damage is awsome and, as you said, add some T2 sentries in the mix and its a true beast! 😁😁😁

I currently fly a Golem and love the ship. But I mainly do L4 missions. Maybe one day, when I get tired of high sec, I will consider moving into low or null sec to do ratting.

I have an alt i use to do L4 missions in hi-sec from time to time. Some of them are quite fun and pay a lot of ISK and also the LP points are a great bonus, but that is really pocket change when compared to doing havens or sanctums in null-sec. For hi-sec missions i mostly use a Rattlesnake. It has a lower overall DPS and by no means the same alpha as a Golem (or any Marauder for that matter), so it takes a bit longer to kill the rats, but the shiled (either passive or active, depending on the mission) is great and also it doesn't have such a BIG target painter on it for gankers.

​@@gamings_roomI'm currently training my drone skills as well. I have a few drone skills trained all the way to lvl 5. Once I have more level 5 drone skills I will consider doing null sec with the Rattlesnake.

One good strategy i'm thinking might be to go for sentries first and use them in conjunction with long range cruise misssile to snipe rats from afar! xD

Well, if you just want to dip your toes in, you could use a needle jack to take a quick trip to null and then leave whenever you feel like

Just keep in mind that the bastion keeps you in place for 60 seconds. In nullsec that gives the baddies enought time to get you. And without bastion the golem is weaker than for example a rattlesnake (similar pricetag)

Drop some mutated heavy drones on your ishtar. Easy 20+% damage boost.

Yep, it really worths the effort, if you can call that an effort! The mutaplasmids are quite cheap and if you get lucky, the increase in DPS can do wonders! 😁😁😁

I recently found two in a long forgotten and unused container! Imagine the surprise seeing them there among a miriad of ther drones..... Put one of them to good use against the Blood Raiders. Coupled with the Rattlesnake insane drone damage, it can do wonders! 🤣🤣🤣

Corp mate dual boxes two paladins running null sec havens. Finished in 6-10 minutes. Biggest problem is rapid target selecting and activating guns repeatedly
