When everyone believes an event will "moon" BTC, they will get in well before the event to capture the gains. However, By the time the event rolls around it is already priced in. The most likely scenario will be a post-event selloff (the opposite of the herd). We see this time and time again. Last time we saw this have a massive impact was the CME future launching.

Tom Lee isn't factoring in something - in fact, MANY of these guys aren't factoring in the most important thing of all. The surge of buyers just before and after Bitcoin made its all time high and just after. These are ignorant investors - ignorant as in they're unfamiliar with how it works and are treating it like stocks and bonds. They see a sell by some whale or some movement or even the most remote drop and it cascades down. They panic sell. This time last year you had the old school buyers in crypto who knew all the ins and outs of it. Sure, lots of new coins and tokens out there but still it was a small community. Before the rise in Bitcoin it was hard not to find some one that said, "What's Bitcoin anyway?" These same people bought it because they were told by cons and everyone else if you buy it you're guaranteed to get rich. Instead of sound diversification, they just dumped all of their money in certain coins they were told would do great. AS soon as it drops, they freak out and sell. Never mind that I'm not just talking about the US; this includes Europe and Asia as well.

Because from all the news ive come across, seems to be there was a ton of bullish news brewing up... the current market going down seems more like whale manipulation.. stop getting lost in the moment, acknowledge how far things have come, between how much it has been spreading across the world and how many more thousands of people actually attended the consensus this year compared to how many attended last year... it more than doubled last year's numbers.. does that sound like failure or success?? so my question to you is, why do you believe it wasn't a success?.. Simply because the numbers on coins didnt explode at the time the consensus was happening? If you fall for that than more than likely you aren't seeing the big picture, nor realizing the wide spread adoption.. understand that smart money doesn't just jump in. They do heavy research even "AFTER" the consensus.. you have to figure, without that money being dumped in just yet.. that than leaves a small group of big whales that have been involved, being able to pull out and create market manipulation ... the simple minds will get caught in the moment .. and thus fall for the plan behind the manipulation.

I beleive some time next year it'll become evident that 90% of erc20 token ICO'$ are built by web designers & kids out of classrooms. Vitalik learned Mandarin in 8 months; there are not that many smart lads out there. For $100 you can have your own token written for you, for $5k they'll write your white paper, make a nice website with count down clock, this that & the other thing.... Open a Twitter account & your off to the races. $5000 for that service, not bad. How many of those out there on market cap? A consolidation into, BTC ETC ADA IOTA NEO & a few others to be sure, will accur. I think trading is much like gambling, don't do it; but if you must gamble Crypto is so much better than Vegas😎
