I absolutely love how the color of the LCD screen almost perfectly matches the ShrekPad case

I can actually picture happily living out of one of these for years. Considering I carried around a Diskman in my pant pockets for half a decade after this came out I'm sure I would've been extatic.

Ah yes, good ol' SCARLE~1.MP3, my favourite. To be fair, it was 2002, LFN had only been a thing for 8 years at this point...

Imagine waking up in the morning and the first thing you see on your phone is a Dankpods notification. Best way to start the day if you ask me

3:06 3 bars of MP3 coverage? Maybe move around the warehouse a bit and see if you can get the full 5.

I was looking up something on youtube earlier starting with the word Australian and discovered it autocompletes "Australian guy who screams at ipods" and I just want to say I'm so proud of you.

Would love to watch him go through old LG phones and find the "This Time" ringtone and do a drum cover of it... Ya know the one: "Right now, not then, I can still remember when"

I'm sorry for the lightning in this video. It's always my mission to bring you onlt the highest quality trash content and I have failed you. I should have seen this on the iPhone screen that I record this mess with. I still blame Frank, she's been plotting my demise ever since the vet told her she was too fat. Anyways, the meaning of life is only- the text at 0:39

Holy cow, I think that was actually the first ever MP3 player I ever owned! Only had 32mb in mine though 😅

While this is pretty good for an early MP3 player, I’m pretty amazed anything new was still using 8.3 filenames by 2002!

I guess it makes sense for a device with such a small screen. Although it is weird that it conforms to 8.3. Surely it isn't based on DOS so it would've been a deliberate choice?

Please do a WOWee speaker review, I used to see WOWee speakers advertised on MTV all the time they claimed to have some magic power to turn any surface into a speaker but they never really caught on so i doubt they were ever any good.
@rodimusmaximus39123 жыл бұрын
I’ve seen similar concepts, they work surprisingly well on certain surfaces and items.

Oh man, did that nugget come from a RadioShack/The Source or something like that by chance? Gonna nerd out here, but that handwritten number on the MTV package matches category number 42 for CD/Tape/Vinyl/MP3 players. We used to write the category numbers onto non-RadioShack branded packaging that wouldn’t scan properly… just like that lol.

I'm not going to lie. Aside from that software, this would have been a very awesome get for me back in the day.
