Ohhh boy, I get to talk about software!! So before everything could be installed through the “wizard” installer, usually you could download files compressed and all your computer would do is install the depositories. But when people started making software that was complex, invoked system permissions, had to download their own dependencies, your computer couldn’t do it on its own. So they made the “wizards”, which was an interface where you could choose the options and allow permissions for the computer without you going and doing all of it manually. Kinda like magic isn’t. You are the wizard!
