My sister, and her 2 children (24 & 5yrs old) were murdered by the father of her 5 year old son on March 5th, 2017. 100 days after their murder, I was diagnosed with cancer. 5 months after their murder I admitted my 22 yr old son into a faith based alcohol treatment center because he couldnt handle their deaths (they were murdered on his 22nd birthday) so he drank his feelings away. God is amazing and merciful and he will never leave you no matter what. I was diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer sept 2017 when I was 22 I’m currently 24. The doctors didn’t know what to do because of how young I was. They had never seen a case like mine. I did chemo, radiation, surgery and other procedures. My family and I never stopped praying. It was hard sometimes to keep the faith cus as a human being i would ask God, “Why me?” But he was always by my side he never left me and he gave me the strength to fight every single day. I always hoped God would heal me. Cancer got worse, my body started adapting to chemo and the cancer started to spread. Doc took a CT Scan, and I came into the doc office for the results 3 weeks later. he told me he doesn’t know what happened but my test results said I have no cancer, no blood clots in my lungs, I’m not anemic, and my blood levels were totally normal. God healed me and gave me my miracle June 06, 2018. I have been in remission for about 8 months now. May all the glory and honor be to God. He is miraculous and almighty. He made me a survivor and I will forever be grateful for that.

I immediately listen to this song after my grandma passed away this morning. I loved my grandma so much. I remember when I was younger, she used to cooked me a lot of food. Mostly my favorite food. She used to make me many dresses, she was a tailor back then. She gave me so many love 💖 But since 4 years ago, my grandma was diagnosed with dementia. Everything changed after that. She became a stranger for me. The woman who used to be so warm and kind, turning into cold and rude. She can't accept her health condition. She started to resent everyone. I had some arguments with my grandma. I yelled at her and she yelled at me. But I always feel bad after our fight. So I usually hug her and said I'm sorry. She became weaker day by day. She didn't even eat her food. She can't walk anymore. I remember, I talked to her for the last time. I told her that I was pregnant with my husband and I'm already 22weeks pregnant. She was so happy. She looked at every usg pictures i had and she really can't wait to see her first great grandson. But things didn't go as we planned. This morning, my grandma passed away. I'm so sad that she will never be able to meet her great grandson. I have so many regrets in my heart. I should have talked to her last night or hug her. I should have said goodbye for the last time 💔💔💔

I heard this song live at a Hillsong concert a few years back. I had never heard it before but I remember being struck by the honesty of the line "even when it hurts like hell". Because sometimes it does. Sometimes it hurts so much that you feel like your chest is caving in and God is out of reach and you cannot bear it another second....but even then, even when you cannot catch a breath through the pain, praise him. He never promised that it would be easy but he promised that he would be there to walk us through it.

I have national exams coming up in October and it's been so tough for me - staying up to study, trying to balance social life, family time, etc.. I have faced so much stress, anxiety and mental breakdowns and I also have a very close friend who suffers from a mental disorder and it's been so hard for him to cope. I pray everyday but sometimes I feel that God does not listen and did not respond to me and I even doubted God's presence multiple times but after listening to many Christian songs, I know that He is always here for me, giving me strength and guidance to allow me to carry on and continue fighting.
