At this moment, a daughter can never be happier to make her mother proud. And a mother can never be prouder of her daughter.

Her eyes fixed on the land. 2:40 Then she started running like nopony has ever seen before. 2:45 She started laughing and crying. 2:50 She stood up on the highest peek 2:40 Finally she had done it! She had never felt happier! Liquid pride started coming down her cheeks. She felt like she could burst. Life was finally full again. She shouted for victory. No more wars. Life would never be the same again. Never! 3:19 Twilight thought that even though she discovered a new land, it would never be the same without her friends. They were what made her what she is today, without them, she would be nothing. Her life would never be the same without them. Being a brony has taught me lots of things. I'm more open minded towards new ideas and activities, I now try to calm myself when angered, and it's taught me to not care about others opinions of yourself. It's given me something to do almost every day, more people to talk to, and overall has made my life brighter. It's shown me that there are still some kind, caring people in the world. I really love this song. The way I hear it the world is already on the brink of destruction at the very start of the song, but around 1:55 the people realise their world is dying, and they still have hope that they can save it. Their attempts do help to reclaim the world but only for a time. Despite their efforts, they fail. At 3:20 their hope dies, and so does the world.

I couldn't stop listening to this for the last week, after the past three months. In that time my girlfriend cheated on me and left. The lease was in her name solely because when our apartment complex was bought out, the former landlord lost the information of multiple tenants including myself. She first tried to terminate the lease out from under me, and when her new squeeze threw her to the curb, tried and failed to come back here and throw me out. When it all ended and she surrendered the lease, the reality hit me harder than an uppercut from the Hulk. I cried, I hated humanity, and finally turned that hatred on myself because I could not exercise it physically. Now... by the grace of God and so many good friends I have made, I am trying to heal. The nightmare has ended...

ken rick It looks like i'll have to read Past Sins. I try not to make a habit of it. I don't want the characters in my ponyfic to pick up non-canon traits by accident. I was writing for straight-hair Pinkie around the time i posted that comment, and it shows doesn't it? Gotta watch myself, her soul-crushingness seems to be seeping out around the edges a little. I must have been method acting to a degree. I always thought the fan-cannon interpretation of straight hair Pinkie to be pointlessly exaggerated (and gore-filled for some reason), which is odd, considering the show's writers get flack when they write normal-Pinkie as a slobbering moron. I honestly can't put how I feel about Evening Star's music into words. It's literally too beautiful, too awe-inspiring, and too great to do it justice with a description. Here's what I see when listening to this music: a wonderful kingdom with a magical princess (or prince) happily playing with her friends. Then a war breaks out and she must fight with her very dear and close friends right beside her while others either fight or hide in safety. Suddenly the villain captures her best friends and threatens to hurt them if she does not give up the fire that fuels her power. Willing to sacrifice herself for her friends she considers family, she take out the flame and gives it to the villain, who than puts it out for good. She now feels like without her flame, she can't fight and protect those who she loves until her friends tell her she doesn't need magic to fight. While back on the battle field, her flame reignites and defeats the evil. She is then crowned queen of the kingdom and as she sits on her throne, she looks at her friends and subjects quietly thanking them and those who fought till the end.
