Event Tracking is not working in Google Tag Manager? Here are the solutions

My Tag is firing in GTM but event not visible in GA4. I got no idea why!

Many possible reasons: wrong measurement ID, you did not wait long enough, maybe something else in the tag configuration is misconfigured.

What about the fact that I created an event in GA4 and it fires in debug, but does not show up on my main page of events in GA4 and does not show up in GTM. I thought one of the benefits of GA4 was the fact that you could create events right in the GA4 interface. Right now the only events showing up are events that I created in GTM first.

The "create events" feature is wildly misunderstood by users, thus similar expectations (like yours) arise. You can create events in GA4 interface, but that comes with a huge asterisk. That feature is based on the events that you are already sending to GA4 with gtag or GTM. Why are you not seeing events? Probably something is misconfigured. But it is difficult to say what (without looking at the setup)
