I always love these lore vids but i think SFV Charlie story confirmed that the SF Alpha 2 Charlie ending was canon, so basically he's dead when SF Alpha 3 happens (whole Alpha series is a mess btw with all the retcon based on single characters...so whatever i guess 😅)

i still think my favorite version of guile's theme is a version used in a commercial for the animated movie's interactive game.(still weird outside other media he had no eyebrows till 6.) definitely is a character that needs a big comeback the most for 6 as outside the attempt to make him the star of sf in the u.s(which even back then i never bought.) he's honestly just there to me in the games with 4 just being foreshadowing to charlie returning(with abel not really impacting much other than being a parallel to cammy/like guile trying to be the focus when ryu,chun li and even juri are more the focus.) and 5 outside the scene of them reuniting/charlie being dead to his past feel bad for him that his friend dies again. though like 6 implies he might be healing with his mentor role to luke,m. bison being dead for good from charlie's sacrifice helping and having years pass from 5's events sitting out on 3rd strike(though in hindsight think remy should've been him/a surprise appearance of charlie to go with his "missing status.) to get back to life.(and shows how devoted his wife is that she just didn't leave him after pretty much abandoning her to search for charlie which until the real story for ken was shown thought the "divorced ken" made more sense for guile with what he went through.) while i love him in other media like the movie,the animated movie(the most his flaw was shown as from the beginning he was burdened with revenge he nearly traded blows with chun li/compared to ryu who was focused enough to withstand and wallop m. bison after getting hit by several of the same blast that knocked guile out who lost due to being blinded by emotion and getting worn out by endurance.) & especially my favorite version in 2v where he beats the daylights out of ryu & ken starting their journey to become stronger being humbled enough to want to thank him and his fight with zangief,taking hits from m. bison's psycho power still ready to help ryu & ken defeat him(kinda wish we saw that as i love that scene when they reunite holding no grudge.) and even while getting hit hard holding a brainwashed chun li back long enough for ken to hit m. bison hard enough to release his psycho power hold on her.

It still bothers me that they put an air force man on a navy ship with old F18's hornets. Especially with the world seeing Top Gun Maverick you would think they would at least update it to Super Hornets or F35's. Or keep it on the air force base with F22's.

This Terrorist Twist with Ken is Wack. Also, the Reason why Guile was so easily receptive to Charlie's Final "Farewell".. was the fact that; he has already accepted the fact that Charlie was already dead. This - "Resurrected" Version of him doesn't change that fact.
