Wow! My first ever commentary video! I know this hasn't been the most active channel ever, but I've wanted to do more in depth videos for a long time and I finally have! It was super enjoyable to make this and I'm so excited to finally share it. I totally get that! I had difficulty with designing her in a way that I both liked and fit her original character. I like her but she's not my best design of the bunch and I think I could have worked in more mad hatter and wonderland vibes

@@TheNumber1Tree true! I think my own personal taste was getting in the way of that. I don't really like top hats or mini hats even though it would have worked well for her character. You live and you learn ig, I will keep that in mind for the future

wait am I the only one who remembers that Apple has glasses- In one of the books Raven mentions to Apple that she has to take out her contacts and put on her glasses. I believe it is the book where they deal with the "Tale of Two Sisters"

i LOVEEEE ever after high, my personal favourite is apple's redesign, her outfit is so cute!! the only one i question is maddie i think? dont get me wrong, your art style is so incredibly gorgeous - but i think it doesn’t really look like maddie at all anymore. that being said, great job! 💕 i love your voice hajbsha 😭💕💕

The adorable persona made me stay on the video omg your art style is super cute and fun!! I really liked how the redesigns weren’t just copy pasting most of the characters designs and more like really making them into your own! I think Apple was definitely my favorite because her entire design was very lovely and cozy to look at and her colors were very nicely cohesive.

I really liked this! But I feel like after the amount of relentless btw she got I doubt she’d be so out there and I doubt she’d have a similar style to her mother since she wants to rebel but I think you did a great job remaking the designs!! (Way better than the originals) ❤

Ig I can see that but EAH is meant to be set in modern times, just in a fantasy world. Thus their fashion styles are a mix between modern (or at least when the series came out) and fantasy, with an emphasis on wanting to sell dolls. I chose to kind of scrap the fantasy fashion element just bc that's what I wanted to do. So Ig it is more of a... real life au? Though still with magic. I can see what you mean about Maddie, I mentioned this is another reply to someone but Maddie is definitely the weakest design of the bunch bc I had a hard time with what I wanted to do, I could have done more to incorporate the mad hatter element. Thanks for the feedback!
