Ever hung up a Ned Rig? Not anymore!

It's quite funny. I was snagging on a Ned over here on English waters and came up with a similar idea of using a weedless hook. Started off with a Cheb weight but then got a friend to solder the Shroom head onto a weedless hook then added abit of wire to act as a keeper. Now these are out, no more farting around. Excellent 😁

I been using a pegged 1/8th bullet weight and 1/0 ewg hook, cheap and effective.. of this saves me time rigging it might be worth a couple extra bucks.. IMO any way..

I use a rugby head and it's like a texas ned rig for larger soft plastics and it slays

You can also rig the regular finesse shroom heads like a shaky head and texpose the hook to avoid getting hung up on rocks n such so much.

True, but the wide gap on the new NedlockZ EWG gives a lot more room for a solid hookset.

I quit using the Zman ned heads and switched to another companies EWG ned hook for this very reason. I will gladly switch back to have this keeper though.

I purchased a bunch of the TRD Bugz and baby goat. I returned them all. As none of my 1/0 EWG Ned heads from another company would fit them well. Now I see you have these. But not available until mid November. Too bad.

I'm not having a lot of hang ups so I won't need these....but cool. I think (for me) my hookup ratio on exposed hooks vs EWGs is so much better I stay with exposed hooks and deal with a few lost baits here as and there. But... then again, its rare I see grass in the ozark highlands lakes I fish 99% of the time.
