Everest Base Camp Deboche to Pheriche

Join, Dean Cardinale and World Wide Trekking as we make our way from Deboche (12,660') to Pheriche (14,250') as we head towards Everest Base Camp in the Khumbu Valley of Nepal. The air is getting thin as we ascend into higher altitudes during our trek. We spend two nights in Pheriche Village to acclimatize and rest before we continue up the valley. On our extra day we go for a short hike to take in the views as well as do a demonstration with our Gamow Bag (Hyperbaric Chamber) and attend the daily high altitude lecture at the Himalayan Medial Aid Post. World Wide Trekking is proud to have rebuilt the Pheriche Aid Post the last few years with our sister non-profit the Human Outreach Project. We have partnered with the Himalayan Rescue Association in building the new facility to provide assistance to the local villagers as well as trekkers and climbers that need medical assistance in the area and at high altitude. The weather is looking good as we make our way to Everest Base Camp and the views are amazing!
