Loved watching your Everest trip. I did it 2018 but had a bad accident on trail that made me have to helicopter back to Lukla and fly back to Khatmandu. My dream trip was ended. Waiting for 3/4 of my life to do this trip and having it end was very hard for me. It was nice seeing someone who really wanted to do this trip and complete it. Again congrats on your trip success and success to your future trips. Love you, take care

Good morning, Randy. I hope that you are having a wonderful day today. Thank you for such a thoughtful and caring message. I'm so sorry to hear about your injury and your trip ending early. By day 2 of this trip, I was so sick that I really don't know how I made it to the top, so I completely understand. I really hope that you get a chance to try it again, if you desire to, and that you have the most victorious journey to the summit. It is so kind of you to offer such sweet words to others when your experience wasn't the best; it sounds like you have such a beautiful heart. Thank you again for watching and for taking the time to share your story. Lots of love back 💞 Mandi

Hi Mandi, this video is so enjoyable. I smiled all the way through. It can be a bit worrying approaching the monastery not knowing what to expect but the monks are always so friendly and welcoming. Your editing is perfect and you were so lucky to have the place to yourself.🙏

You are truly the nicest, Peter! Thank you for your abundance of kindness. I know, right haha. My heart was beating! I'm at the airport now heading home from my newest adventure, and while I was at my (yet undisclosed haha) location, I saw 2 monks, and I just wanted to hug them because they are all so sweet. They asked me to take their photo with their camera, and they didn't seem to know English, and I was regretting that I couldn't remember the teeny bit of Nepali while I was there. Right! I love having places all to myself 🎉 Did you get to visit any monastery's on any of your visits to the Himalayan region?

I loved this Amanda! Your edit was perfect. I am trying to put it into words what makes this a special post. I believe it was the fact I felt I was right there with you immersed and experiencing the chill in the air, the colors, the sound of the prayer flags in the wind, the smell of the pine trees, the smell of the fire, the openness and kindness of the culture, the enjoyment of the animals tailing along looking for a little affection. Having been in Nepal before, this 7 minutes and 7 seconds allowed me to escape and took me right back there. Thank you so much for sharing as I know it takes effort and time to capture and edit.

Good evening, Mark! Your message was so touching and thoughtful; it really made my heart feel all warm and fuzzy haha. Thank you, Mark! That is probably the nicest KZbin compliment that one could receive, and you've totally made my day! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ And, it means even more to me since you've been there and experienced similar things. I was just thinking while traveling through the airport this morning how incredible it is that two people could do the exact same trip, and yet what they each experience and show through their own eyes could be so different and so uniquely them. Thank you again for the wonderful message! If you ever put out any videos, I'd love to watch one/them 🍿

Good evening, Amanda! I will absolutely share the video when I have something. While not naturally creative or gifted in all things writing, I have a friend who has a story that needs to be told as it is so relevant and folks need to know they are not alone. So many vets and first responders suffer in silence. Because of this, I have been enrolling in documentary cinematography courses to learn how to tell the story visually through film. I am an absolute beginner but am learning from some of the best in the industry. I will actually be shooting at the end of the month at one of his events to try and capture as much as I can, I have no idea where this adventure will take me or if I will be able to produce anything. Just re-reading the previous sentence, this is more of an mission than an adventure. If we can save one person or connect folks with the resources they need, it will totally be worth the effort. You are so right, I have watched dozens of EBC trek videos, many of them being roughly the same montage with either dialog or text detailing the who, what, where, how - but the way your edit yours is very different. You allow others to see and experience aspects the same trek through a different lens in your unique way. I am so glad I stumbled onto your channel. Hope you have a fantastic week.

@@kind1551 Good morning, Mark! Your message gave me goosebumps - literally. Well, it is a teeny bit chilly in my room, but I don't think the goosebumps were there before I started reading your message haha. What a beautiful thing you are planning to do. As both a veteran and a former emergency medic, I think it's awesome what you are planning. I have always wanted to shoot a documentary, so that's amazing that you get to try to do something like that - and even better that you have the opportunity to take classes to learn how to do it! Wow! I can't wait to hear updates! Ah, thank you so much for your kind words; they really mean so much to me. I hope you have the best week, and I look forward to hear more very soon.

@@kind1551 Hey, Mark! Oh, wow! It really is a small world hahhaa. Though, like does attract like, so I guess it's not surprising that we are both awesome people hahhahahaaa. I'm dying with laughter 😁 Thank you for sending your friends website. I'm looking at it now, and all of the videos look fantastic! What a journey he's been through: loosing his friend on top of his own struggles. That's so neat to see that he has annual events. Is it the annual event that you'll be filming at? (I'm just curious, so please feel free to not answer if you prefer not too 😀)

Hi, Karthick! I hope that you are doing great today. Thank you so much for the message. It is possible to go solo legally, and I understand your concern because there is a lot of misinformation around this. Have you watched Nicholas Eager and Harmen Hoek both of whom also did a series of Himalayan hikes in the silent mode. The cinemotography was so good, they did not need a narrative.
