After being away for so long I was expecting...more than what we got. This was the perfect time to take risks and just blow us away, but instead, they continued from where they left off as if there had been no hiatus. Like you said it's a good song and I like it, but I don't love it. And a single??? Over a year and a half away and we don't even get a mini album? Yuehua doesn't know what it's doing.

it’s called having a signature sound, after a long hiatus you want them to do something different and risk flopping? everybody is hopping on the y2k trend, glad they did something different

Sorry to burst your bubble, but Yuehua was most likely testing the waters to make sure Everglow still had a safe spot in Kpop. Blackpink seems to be the only group until now who can pull off a 1 year+ Long hiatus and it not hurt their popularity much. Everglow already having some level of popularity is the only reason they didn't disband or disappear the moment they went on Hiatus. NewJeans, TripeS, Etc have cause alot of Industry sound shifting since they surfaced. When the Industry sound makes shift, Testing Everglow's placement within the idustry was the safest and best route to take. Because is the long run, had Everglow not already been popular and they cameback. They could've flatlined. We got lucky they got a win from this. We'll most likely get something better next comeback.

EU lost weight for sure but she definitely had a rhinoplasty and or other procedure cause I thought they added a new member when the teasers came out. I saw a tweet saying the reason their comeback took so long was that they were waiting for her new face to heal. The song definitely felt a little basic with the "nanana" but i'm okay with it now.

Sadly it really does feel like they wanted to release something for KCOn. but hoping the Win the got help them get back on track after being gone so long! Seeing them on the panel at KCON was surreal! Fun times! much love

I’m with you. I love EVERGLOW and this song does not really do it for me. I still have to check out the bsides. I think I heard they were good. Fav EVERGLOW title tracks re still dun dun and ladida. Shiyeon and Onda are my favs too

To me it just kinda feels like a song that anybody could do, y'know :/ Their company kinda shot themselves in the foot because Everglow is a group with such strong personality, it changes peoples' expectations. People don't want "a good song" they want an EVERGLOW song.
