i'm playing indivisible too, also feels like a cocktail of genres. seems rather ambitious then remembered the studio closed. have you heard of just shapes and beats? it's real fun and is also a rhythm bullet hell.

I watched a let's play of this game & I have to say I found the narrative to be a little artsy-fartsy-up-its-own-arsey for my taste. It just seemed to be lots of quirky characters doing quirky things with a touch of existentialism thrown in. Maybe it's because the indie market is quite saturated with these kinds of themes these days I'm not too sure. Still an incredibly well made game & that soundtrack is probably one of the best I've heard in a game for a long time, maybe a sale pickup at some point in the future (or just buy the soundtrack lol).

I get that completely. I nabbed it on sale, so there is that, but yeah, thatbwas one of my points too. Feeling overly scripted. I think the real lessons come from reading between the lines thiugh, but maybe I'm inferring too much. Hahah!

So... essentially this is a musical bullet hell ? I like the former but not the latter, so I'm not sure about this one. It seems well done, though. The soundtrack must be good, too, in order to have someone making a physical release. I'll wait for a deeeep sale.

It is! But with actually bullet hell bosses, racing, tennis, etc. Its one of the better "mini genre-blenders" I've played. It definitely has a linear feel, but they patched it together well. 😅

If you think of it more as a Bullet-Hell than a Rhythm game, that may tell you what you need to know. Haha!
