EverQuest: Merc Tank Soloing in Maiden's Eye--a Twist on How to Solo as a Rogue

In my previous rogue solo video, I used a mercenary healer and tanked the mobs. In this one, I use a mercenary tank and let it do the tanking. The best approach will depend on your gear and AAs. As always, back out if you start using health and escape. No need to die soloing. You can always wait to pop your merc.

I use /mercassist in my kill button, as you say having mercs just charging around is a right pain

You're moloing current content with no healer? How lol. Your dps must be insane.

I can only molo Tier One content. I'm in a mix of Tier Three COV Group to Tier 2/Tier 3 ToL Group Gear with one ToL chase weapon. And yeah, rogue DPS is insane. The key is the tank merc holds aggro, you stun the mob with an ambush disc, and then assassinate does the rest. I try this in a tier two zone and it's far too risky (whether I use a healer or tank merc).
