Everquest: Assist Macros for Multi-Boxing

Grouping just isn't available and the difficulty scaling really inhibits solo play, so boxing it is. This was super helpful for setting up a 3 box system with some macros and binds for controlling all 3 boxes from one simple key set. Would really not be possible without these macros that do spells for you. Thanks a bunch.

I 5 box and I have Assist Macro's, Dot Macro's, Nuke Macro's, and AA Burn Macro's. Love learning new ways to set up Macro's.

Thanks for this. I have recently tried 2 boxing ... but only on servers where its allowed. I started it because its not possible to find groups anymore for this game, with the game having such a high difficulty level and being basically made difficult to make you work for what you earn.

I also started multiboxing because I could never find a decent group. Or it took hours to find a group when I only had 1 or 2 hours to play. If you find yourself on the FV server look for our guild by joining chat channel Chaos. We're inventing anyone who's interested regardless of level. Most members are friendly and happy to group.

Boxing makes forming groups real easy. If you run a Tank/Healer, you are set.

I kind of wonder why they never made orcs a playable race in this game?

I want Goblin as playable race, I think they would be fun, But I can see Orcs too.

If I remember right, one of the devs was asked that years ago - the issue was the graphics memory available on most players' computers back 20+ years ago. For each player model, they have to have it available in every zone, which eats up more video memory and 20+ years ago, a lot of players didn't have dedicated video cards like they do today. It was something along those lines anyway

I thought pause 5 would be .5/10 or 1/2 second so pause 50 would be 50/10 or 5 seconds not 50 seconds. Is my thinking incorrect?

It may be correct, I often use the term, "seconds" losely when it comes to EQ timers as I know they're not in seconds. I'm sorry if my wording caused any confusion.

@@johnnymclemore8255 I do not use anything. Just in game mechanics and macros. It can be challenging because EQ'a /follow command is pretty crappy. I have learned some cool ways of setting assist commands though.
