I show you how to get rich and solo at level 20 on your TLP server (Kunark must be open). This is one of the best ways to make thousands of plat at any level.

Great guide. Mammoth tusks from everfrost are also 9pp each, bind and origin back to sell. Size GIANT so need 10 slot sewing box. High pass guards fast respawn also drop fine steel weapons for evil races. By the end of 20s having over 1k plat is nice.

My mage on selos is now 30 would love a guide on mammoth tusk..I remember them, and the giants used to drop 20 to 30 plat years ago when I played there,unfortunately I forgot all of it from not playing for the last 12 years..lol

This timorous deep camp will make you more money if you AFK camp one of the 3 spawn spots.

@@MrRichardgower Perfect level range for mammoth is lvl 21-27, mammoths are weak to fire magic and die in 3 casts. At 30 they wont give much exp anymore and they roam tundra in everfrost. Giants are in Rathe Mountains and they will be contested, meaning camped 24/7 on a new server - they will be much harder to kill as well. I mean for big ticket plat you can also camp fishbone earring, chocodai prod, circlet of shadow- last 2 in kunark because they are all worth 2k or more.

Another good spot to make money is Erollisi island in OOT. The named lvl 25 sisters in the crater past the village. There are 3 of them. 2 of them always drop a sword that vendors for 11p with a 6min respawning time. About 22p every 8 min. If you dont mind ruining Tunare faction and you can break the camp then maintain the broken spawns can make some good profit, while soloing a good chunk of levels in the 20s.

Did these on Yelinak server - worth noting as well that the Gunthak Swabbies and Pirates in this zone [48 and 49, they are on the island to the east/NE of the initial island from OT/SRO] have the same loot table as these so if people need another experience spot in the late 40s early 50s that's hardly ever looked at, these are an option and good for money as well.

actually bones make blood, so you could poison the bone inside.

@@doctornachoz8099 They made it way too easy to level. I remember spending weeks just to hit 14 on this game. Well maybe it was just too hard to begin with. A lot of fans were turned away because they didn't have enough free time to achieve what they wanted. I miss the old zone textures also, the revamped stuff doesn't even look like it flows with the player models and npcs but Im glad to be back. Eq will always hold a special place in my heart.

I found another way to get plat even as early as levels like 3 or 4 ...things sell for 4 plat each with charisma as low as 45 lol... I can imagine more with better charisma ...the lizard mystics near the oggok drop this doll that sells for 4 plat each ...so starting as an ogre ain't a bad idea ...!!!

Basic xping/cash generating. Great explanation in detail for newbies. Any enchanter is going to be doing this right through to Planes of Power and beyond. P.S.: Tsk, no reason not to have 100 swimming, 100 fishing, 100 foraging (if your race/class allows).

I was under the impression that you didn't get exp, or it was severely lowered if your pet did most of the dmg?

If you do less than 50% of the damage, you get a small amount. I did a mage tutorial video back when Agnarr was around and it seemed like 5% when the pet did the majority of damage.

what are the buffs you are using ?

I'm using the ENC hp shield and breeze. Also, I have the HP buffs that clerics at your level can cast. The most important buff is breeze for mana regen.

Check out the videos on how to farm the koblod hide boots or the other guys in Sol A. They're not leveling guides, but will give you an idea of how to camp the areas and get exp too.

This video is for TLP servers when you are at level 20, so you won't have a level 100 wizzie. On a live server you have many other options and money is super easy to get, but TLPs are much more challenging when it comes to money.
