Oh boy, looking forward to this one! EDIT: I could tell you that you can't use rogue poison on a shroud. Shrouds are their own race and poisons are for player races. Shrouds have been nerfed to oblivion over the years, which is the whole reason the new 'alternate personas' feature was developed. Way back in DoDh, people used shrouds to account for deficiencies in their group makeup. For example, if you wanted to do Chardok Royals (ENC, WAR, CLR epic 1.0), you needed a rogue. Well, goblin shroud fixes that. It was also an obscene way of leveling and gaining XP, both alone and in monster missions (it's the same system). I don't know if you were playing back then but zones like Highkeep would constantly crash due to the number of people there doing monster missions (think guild lobby on a populated server times 3....but in a space the size of one of the corpse summoning areas. An absolute slideshow if you had a low spec machine). The Dain series of MMs (Founding of Thurgadin, etc) were also ridiculously popular. I'm sure everyone who plays EQ is familiar with Old Man McKenzie, who at first gave access to raid quality gear simply by doing monster missions (this was nerfed too eventually). And your pleas are falling on deaf ears. People have been asking for a shroud upgrade/revamp for over a decade now. But hey, we have alternate personas now! Isn't that better?! 🙄 22:30 I understand what you mean but you're kinda off base here. It's like meleeing with a wizard and then complaining that they're not doing enough damage. Why not set up a temporary camp and then pull PAST the rogues, so all they have to do is assist and attack (and the mob's back will be facing them)? Or if pulling with a rogue, have the rogue pull the mob to the tank, evade, and then strafe around to the rear arc and drop that DPS on its arse. It doesn't take that much....ah, I see. You're playing sleepy so decision making is questionable. I have taken out frustrations from work in EQ. I once kept an entire guild out of Sleeper's Tomb by permakilling (in concert with another guild) all of the first brood dragons and the Kael Trio. When we heard Velketor could drop a talisman as well, the other guild kept him on permalock. All because the guild leader of said guild was an a-hole and I dealt with enough a-holes at work that I had to grin and bear. So he and his guild got ALL of my animus. After about four months (during which point, we were giving talismans to ALTS), his guild disintegrated and we got most of their better raiders. He switched servers and tried to apply to another raid guild but.....people talk, and he was rejected.

They need to be updated and given incentives so people have a reason to use them.

I wish they'd just made a mentoring system like EQ2 - much easier to use and accomplishes the same thing

Btw, you don't get ANY xp at all while in the Shroud form. You had the exact same amount of xp before and after the Shroud.

You do get XP, but it depends on your level.The level difference in this video was probably too big for it to register. When I shrown a level 50 or less down to level 30 or something like that you can see some XP, but yeah, it's never the same as playing your actual level. I can make a video later showing this.
