I think people spend too much time in unrest, grinding past 30 there is brutal, exp slows down so much in the high 20s and the only place worth going past like 25 is basement. mistmoore is usually where I head after i get low to mid 20's in unrest, and if youre evil or don't care about froglok faction cause you have invis upper guk is good too and usually has groups. but my goal is lower guk as soon as possible. not because its the best, but because its my favorite dungeon in any MMO. spent so many hours in there as a rogue during original classic back in 1999-2001.

I saw another TLP is going to be released with the same old super fast, hurry the hell up to get to max level so they can open another expansions...*sigh. Maybe one day they will make one so I don't have to rush, I'll play that one

They should do one with delayed release, so it's not rush rush rush. LIke 6 months or more until Kunark

@@Nobleshield Yea I would like that, I think 6 months is enough time. 2-3 months is just not enough, I can hit max level and maybe get a few pieces. By 6 months I think I'd be mostly geared by then

The fact that the Happy Path is all Undead from lvl. 10-12 onward makes a Necro and/or Cleric a decent choice... You can actually have a Tank and a combo of Necro's and Clerics and you got 5 prime DPS casters with Expel Undead line of spells, cheap on mana and you truly blast the undeads to fine paste! You wouldn't even have to heal to much since the mobs will die almost instantly.

Yeah undead are great too because they don't run, so you don't need snare =) Pal / Enc / Clr / dps / dps / dps is a great group foundation. At around 25-30 a Paladin can get Ghoulbane which process dismiss undead a lot its so lol. SK works also but Paladin is fun for the undead stuff at 59 also with Slay Undead.

A quality guild will also include befallen 5-15 as well as the amazing alternative to Unrest Cazic Thule. With a snare in the groups you can solidly level from 10 - 30/35 in throne room. As a original eq player this is the evil equivalent dungeon to Unrest. Undead mobs of unrest are geared as undead because most GOOD aligned groups wouldn't have a snare and travel time was very long. Evil having necros SK's and druids from misty ugh and bards can run the Lizard man dungeon. Drops in CT are even geared in size for the large evil raced tanks. The balance is Dark Elf needing small but can wear the heavier medium size bronze and Barbarian needing the Large size. It was always the design of camp stacking that required the use of snare in CT which lead to hatred due to one mob getting away and killing many groups. Only the best and most skilled fast paced groups can do CT but that is my addition to this. I will also point out the sk armor quest drops are off crusader mobs in CT and the cost is so high only because nobody plays the zone or the drops would be plentiful. Our guild will be promoting this less congested sweet unplayed gem of a zone from 10 - 35 and all our BIG BOY tanks will be set in bronze! Hope we see you there!

I have full leveling guides in progress that includes befallen but getting a group on TLP is impossible unless u make the group. CT is great too. I used both for power leveling as No players go there. This guide is happy path. Best place to get a group and level fast ;)

I completely agree with your guide. That being said, I looooove MM. It is annoying at times, and you do need an optimized group of people who are actually playing well, but man I love that place.

Ive been waiting for this guide, hammack! Hopefully you continue it past lvl 50 cause i got a couple of toons around 65 and cant find anywhere good to box with them 😊 always great videos 👍

65, Paw / Wall of Slaughter / CT / Plane of Fire / BoT are all good till 70+. I will have guides for every 5 levels of leveling soon. That is my new focus now that heroics characters are done.

The fastest leveling in the classic game is literally Inny swamp directly into upper guk. I raced like 200 people once and won by 2 hours to 30. I know of a faster method but it can only be done after people have good enough buffs to be had in EC, which is going directly to EC and using buffs to get to 10-12 then going to guk.

You can go to lower guk as early as level 30. The camp is bedroom i believe. Then you work your way further as you level up. Unrest's exp slows down a bit from lev 30 on, so most people leave then to lower guk.. Sol B might be a bit hard at 35. I 'd suggest a bit higher for the royals. ( not positive on this one tho)You mentionned soloing with your warrior at lev 50 in LGuk. Then you are good or very well geared or both. Mine couldn't solo there , and died each attempt at the ghoul lord 's room. I could slightly more with my enchanter , with gate memorized...Mistmoor is great , but an inevitable death usually occurs either with trains or group wipe. Many give up that zone after a wipe. You happy path is the most used path for fast levelers true.

With a perm group maybe guk at 30. Only class I’ve seen solo pull that off is cleric. I find 32/34 to be the sweet spot to switch over from unrest to guk bdrm. As for my warrior he was a raid tank from classic to velious. So he had raid gear most of the time. But even then raid gear in classic hate or fear armor that can be one grouped. If I implied I soloed the ghoul lord itself at 50 that’s not what I mean, I mean wan/dar/kor/whatever exp mobs. My enchanter duoed lord/king with my box cleric no issue. Solb dogs at 35 with snare is great. In a group you want to target yellow/ reds In June I have a series that has me 6 boxing reds in mistmoore. It’s hard. On Yelinak we did under/over/ken at 50 but my group brings out of group characters we rotate in for the optimal group setups. So not standard.

MM is good and all but i feel like the zone is a bit too small for a TLP and out of the way. The freaking brownies in Lfay are an issue enough to make me avoid MM lol

I love Castle MistMoore, but your right. It's like a 2nd Crushbone. "train to zone" is a serious warning that really means you need to zone out. The pathing in that zone is awful. And higher level players can and will try and take advantage of that.

I have a series come up where I take all the non happy path picks. It was pretty fun to do. Mist Moore is one and kedge another. Starts in June ;) But on a TLP it would be hard. I went in full raid gear velious at 60 with my box crew and it was still a bit much.

Yes I have when I have a snare class as snare is 100% required. King is a great place to farm ;)
