Field of bone! Kunarks castle. Iksar Shadow knight for life here. The XP penalty for being a duo class. Plus being an Iksar was a tough first time play with Eq but so enjoyable.

Came back to this video after the announcement for the new TLP random loot server starting at Kunark, Teek. Any thoughts? I know you said you were done with EQ and I quit Mischief but I’m definitely going to play on it casually.

Yeah, I'm done with the EQ for the forseeable future :) Will dabble a bit on the EQ2 side of things, but that's it.

@Renfail kunark is definitely less solo friendly than the mainland. But that's ight. Just little tired of giants and brutes. Getting to 37 (will be 38 today) solo has been pretty time consuming. But not so much difficult. Just boring.

Kunark and Australia look very similar very similar climate minus the dragons and volcanoes but both have creatures out to kill you.

My memories of classic Kunark release era EQ was very similar. We were from the Feydark and behind the curve because we played slowly and did a lot of RP/guild building and so on, but I had skyfire ports and loved off-path dungeons like Befallen in the old world, and Dalnir in Kunark. I didn't really optimize until mid way through the Luclin expansion and didn't slow down until near the end of PoP after doing Time and getting my Time Travellers notebook. In between I taught myself to quad and spent a lot of time leading planar noobs on fishing raids to plane of nightmare. I never leveled an Iksar. They looked cool but they couldn't be Wizards and at the time, my game identity was Graffes Wizard Forums and being the best and most complete version of that I could be. #Manaburn 4ever, baby!

@@Renfail This video does take on increased relevance with the Teek/Tormax release. While the commenter was rude, and I'm glad you're making money, you could take the opportunity to make another video more focused on showing people how to effectively level up in just kunark. You could even re-use a lot of your video content, just targetted differently. Anyway good luck with your channel, you seem cool and laid back. Mentioning like, if you don't have an enchanter(all Iksar), a necro or two is pretty important for Kaesora and Dalnir for CC, and in Kaesora, very important for DPS(so much undead...).
