Luclin is such a weird xpac for me. It has some nice stuff, but VT is such a big long raid. Add in AA grinding can get rather tedious and boring. With that said the raids are fun, and the zones are neat, but I feel the previous, and next xpacs were just better.

Those raids should have definitely been broken up, I used to farm those with my 12 box of level 70s for fun and they still take a long time to do.

Your memory is faulty. Luclin came out okay. I got the expansion 1 day early because Walmart sold me the boxes early, so I was the first level 61 on Fenin Ro, and was messing big Froglocks in Old Sebillis while teasing TMO guild members about 'being blue to me.'

Just getting back to EQ - playing on live at the moment and missing groups ... is it too late to join this TLP?

No not too late oakwynd is are still in velious, whilst there are pickup groups, the server is top heavy. My advice is find a guild that suits your play times , as people are always levelling alts . Project Quarm is a good option too, private sever but is popular and lots of grouping going on!

I joined about a week ago and it has been heavy going at the lower levels and starting/early zones are already quite sparse. Luclin may be a good time to start as I am sure there will be hundreds of Kitty alts sprouting up.

The only ones you have to really use are vah shir , their old models look so jank .. and I’ve always used elementals too otherwise totally prefer classic look

this server is already too top heavy. Finding a group to level with is nearly impossible (even with the recent XP bonus) and it seems the only alternative is a either a slow solo grind or paying krono for a power level. I think I am gonna just wait this dead server out and hope for a better TLP next year.

Oakwynd definitely isn’t dead but yes it’s too heavy! Best bet is find a guild there’s plenty out there and I’m sure there’s people levelling alts etc up , typically that’s what I see

You'll be able to catch some power level or groups maybe with the new round of beastlords but all TLPs are top heavy, Oakwynd still has highest population yet, it's not like the old days where exp is slow and we have a year between expansions. There's only two times early on that happens, Beastlords and Berserkers, other than that you'll always be short of a group to level with unless you have friends or join a guild.

@@vanman2099 I played on Mischief and was able to easily find PUG groups all the way into GoD. This server is unquestionably dead by comparison. There are more ads for power leveling in general chat than actual chat. I already cancelled my account and will be waiting for the next TLP. Hopefully they learn from this disaster of a server.

Thanks for that info, I quit Mischief after TSS that's crazy it's that dead already with it's population being so high, I do think that you'll see more groups for Luclin, but I've been disappointed they haven't made another random tradeable loot server those are the only ones that live, even FV on live with just tradeable is the most populated@@Zodemus

Started playing recently and stuck at lvl33 after luclin launch as a SK. Probably a mistake because no raiding guilds want SKs and I’m not getting groups. Might have to reroll as a necro.
