The first one is just plain dumb. You can only use it to teleport like this once per persona creation and its permanent. You cant delete personas.

Having played a Monk during the original era of PoP back in 2002 in a high end raiding guile, I'd rank the class a C at best, and just barely. Monks suffered greatly from how much damage enemies did in this era compared to Luclin, severely limiting them as being light tanks for exp groups without extremely high end gear. With no snap aggro and no utility offered to a group besides pulling, they were easily replaced by a multitude of classes. The worst I remember as a monk was simply being unable to participate in a great amount of raid fights due to how much AE damage or AE rampage caused by some raid targets. Blazzax the Omnifiend, Magmadar, Fennin Ro, Xegony, 95% of the Rathe Encounter, Tallon Zek in PoTactics, and Solusek Ro off the top of my head. It was easier to just tank these bosses at a distance and kill them with ranged damage as opposed to trying to heal melee classes taking massive damage. PoWater I also remember being horrible for monks and melee classes in general due to the poor water physics of always sinking and trying to stay in range on small enemies. PoTime was much better, but by that point I was very disgusted with the game in general due to monk not being anything special and quite often useless in this expansion. I left the game because of it in 2003 having started in 1999 and enjoying everything up to that point.

We had a plvl group train us multiple times last night in velks on teek. I don't care that people offer the service just don't train groups in the process.

What I want to know is exactly how is this done!? What characters are needed and whats the process. I already box 5 so and have done many more years before but I don't get how they do this so consistently and stably without fail. I have searched every inch of the internet for this information, it does NOT exist. The ONLY PL info online is how to PL using DS, which is MUCH slower than what the pro Plers are doing. Someone tell me the secret please.

I was thinking about playing EverQuest again cuz I saw a video of someone playing it I didn't realize that it was still up and playable.

Necro: Dead on, maybe even a D. Mained a Necro in classic. No one wanted you. Even Lguk you were one of the last choices for groups. Raids? It was CHARITY if they took you. Shortly before/after kunark they gave you some corpse summoning and a res that cost a fortune to use, so most raids took one or two as wipe insurance (run away and feign or zone in and summon then res a cleric)... and the literal most awful spell line in the game that turned you into a mana battery... where you'd just cast to give someone mana at 1/3 efficiency. Tell me you're a lazy dev with no ideas how to make a caster useful without telling me you're a lazy dev with no ideas. (OH you want to be USEFUL on raids? How about you give your mana to a CLASS WE GIVE A CRAP ABOUT INSTEAD?) Endgame as necro was absolutely horrible. You could solo in open areas against mobs who didn't have good resists. Whoopdeedoo. Bard: Under-ranked. Solid adps / support option for grouping and one of the best choices for raid fill. I'd say A. Would be S, but yeah early leveling is pretty painful... and easily most skill-demanding class... by a factor of ten. Druid: Ehhhh... they are fine at getting groups. Yeah they're last choice among healers... but that makes them the 3rd or 4th most in demand class for grouping. I've seen damn near every class in the game "tank" classic EQ content back in the day when you couldn't find a tank. I've seen Rangers "heal" a time or two in classic... never lasted more than a few minutes. Top 3 classes for a group were the 3 healers. I never saw any healer ever struggle to find a group. Tanks rarely did, but it happened. That alone pulls Druid out of D... Also their DoT's were fine. Just generally feels like you underrated every aspect of the class. Low A, High B SK: yeah, dummy broken. You want a tank? You want an SK. Warrior/Pally were closer to nontank tanks than they were to SK. Most clear S in game. Until shortly after PoF/PoH dropped... Harm touch was irresistible. Then a group of like 100 SK's insta-killed CT by just simultaneously Harm Touching him... That's the only nerf I think I've ever heard of SK's getting. Mage: S, Easy. Probably best DPS in game for almost all content in classic. Easily second best soloer and best for a lot of content. Their pet was straight up broken at a LOT of levels in classic. Rogue, Ranger, Wizard. C You want DPS and cant get one of the DPS you actually want? You'll take one. Monk, Second best DPS to Mage and easiest chain puller in game. Yes please. S. Shaman, Do absolutely everything except CCing and tanking... almost as good as the best class at each? S. Cleric, S for power/ease. D for the fact they were PAINFUL to play. Warrior/Paladin B. Yes, they were inferior to Sk. but they got groups and even raids easy enough. TLDR: S: SK > Mage > Shaman > Monk A: Bard B: Druid > Warrior = Paladin C: Ranger > Wizard > Rogue D: Necro Why do you hate yourself: Cleric

What do i do with the equipment on each character? Say i'm a warrior and i swap to a mage. How do i manage that equipment difference?

I stopped playing when they banned 4 of my accounts for getting power leveled. Did the power leveler get banned. Nope. I am truly convinced that the GM’s and the people who run EverQuest are in on the Krono and power leveling scam. That’s the only way I can see these power levelers being able to function without any repercussions won’t be returning to request and I played since 1999.

Can we talk about cheating being at an all time high for this fucking game? I played Teek for 3 weeks and couldn't stomache it anymore cause everyone was using a map bot. Everyone was training, everyone was using MAcroquest or some variant of it. What a vile shit show this game has become. It's actually disgraceful. Not to mention the tower which is also just so stupid. Why would you want to delete the reason for playing the game by adding a mechanic to skip everything in every expansion? HELLO?

If you think the tower gear is bad now... When PoP opens up at the beginning of December, there will be the level 65 tower gear items which have 3 aug slots, type 3, type 7, and Type 25. The type 25 augs add 13AC, 49 HP, and a bunch of other stats. Which means some of these items are going to be comparable to Phase 5 Time gear. Since they made the question decision not to release LDoN with PoP, a lot of people are going to spend most of that 12 weeks waiting for LDoN to open so they can finally fill those type 3 and 7 augs on their overpowered Tower gear. LDoN should open with PoP and should do so on all future servers.

If they do another server like this, they should do a Luclin start so you have AAs from the get go so you actually have something to do at level 60, or they need to make AAs available earlier.

i started playing on teek in week 2 or 3 after release, found about the tower loot, and immediately stopped playing.

I got my mage to 60 and a few alts to 40+ on Teek. I thought Teek was going to be my solution to being short on time. I thought I could solo and just buy the gear I want because I don't have long uninterrupted play sessions. Problem is, I WAS able to buy all the gear and suddenly I had no real reason to play. What else do I do at max level as a primarily solo player with very good gear? I don't craft. Masochistic faction grinds? The game has lost appeal and I feel like krono is like having cheat codes.

6:00 12 weeks is not a slog if you're a casual like me, i like it. Now we just need to remove the krono and i'd start over on teek in a heartbeat

The economy right now is completely borked. It's worse than Oakwynd was after the plat dupe. However, it's still kind of fun to be so overpowered with tower gear.

I was watching a group stream on KZbin, and I watched a power level bot team train a actual live group and every time the group enchanter had mobs locked, they would break the mezz causing the group to become overrun a very toxic in Chardok and Sebilis.

Sadly tower gear is the only thing preventing the bot farmers from holding the average player hostage on gear. Disagree, I dont fucking care. I stopped playing soon as I found the tower. I wanted a p99 type server without the level/expansion caps full of slow leveling and active achievements.

No talk of the GM plat give-a-ways due to Krono disappearing? It's the reason that Krono are 190kpp already in Kunark. The tower cash did account for the initial increase though. The CS team doesn't even check if there is any validity to the missing Krono. If you put in a ticket telling them that a Krono missing from your account, they will send you the current plat equivalent. It's crazy.

I've seen a good chunk of drama in the forums, but I'm glad Teek has been predominantly a good thing! Since the population is low, I will speak on Tormax.. Obviously the population is the downfall of the server, however, it has been the best TLP i've ever played on. I havent had issues levelling up as of yet, as well as: - No PLers (yet) - No krono farmers (could be seen as a con since the market is fairly weak until bazaar) - Full raid schedules Most importantly, I've been able to quest every single thing i wanted! Usually with TLP's, I'm never able to do grinds like Wurmslayer, because it's so heavily locked down. It feels pretty great to have a tight-knit community & grind out the game in it's entirety.

You lost me when I saw you run with Agesz and his crew. If you have anything to do with those guys then you are part of what is bad about Teek.

I understand why you and other "time competitive" players/guild want less time in Kunark but this server brought a ton of casuals back who didn't get completely geared in 2 weeks. I am not a fan of starting in Kunark which is the crux of the problem.

Tower made me stop playing after a couple weeks. Getting POP gear in kunark made it just too weird for me
