i used it during one year. its an awersome tool to lving toons. you bot farm xp and aa, can decide loot attribution, can farm naned or not etc etc.. lot of people said "bah you are a cheater, a bot etc etc etc" but same people send PM "can you add me in your group plz, i need some AA , during my sleep time plz". it can help to, to get back xp after bad raid session and give a good help for guild to keep some toons on "mercenary mode" ;). EQ is an awersome game, but a very old one and comunity on live server is poor, so i see this tool like a way to keep EQ in live :).... sorry for my english ;)

I'm just now committing to coming back to EQ, but I want to up my 3box to a 6box, and I finally decided I'm cool with automating. If they ban my accounts, they can finally f off for real haha. I want to just run my bard and have 5 toons act like mercs. From everything I've watched and read about redguides and MQ2, a *LOT* has changed since the creation of the tutorial videos and written guides. It would be awesome if someone could just make some refresher videos. Like, is it still eqbcs or whatever or is it all dannet. Do you need that stuff at all or is there an easy "mercs" setting? Does the mercs setting work with druid or necro yet? The web suggests no, although I'm sure there are necro specific plug ins.. but I'm not feeling the $20 license fees

I think redguides makes class pluggin videos what show what they do, so check out their channel. If you go over to the test server, you can use all the class pluggins for free there. It's a great way to try them out and see which ones you like the most. I haven't played EQ in a while, so not sure how the Druid pluggin performs, but some of the other ones were extremely good and well worth it.

Sorry, it's a little old, they now have something better called Class pluggins which are a lot easier to use, but cost $$ to use. You can still do kissasist like in the video and it works almost as good as the class pluggins. As for your other question, 5 toons will be able to have 5 mercs which is almost two full groups. If you get 3 toons you can fill the rest of the group with 3 mercs, but I feel the real cleric is a lot better than the merc.

If I subscribe to redguides for a month. Dl everything and get setup. At the end of the month, will mq2 just stop working once I'm no longer a paid subscriber? I'm a very casual player and don't mind paying for access but I don't play and care enough to warrant an ongoing subscription.

Yes, you have to pay each month or else it will not work with the next patch. I'm very casual and still find it a good deal at the price. But it all depends on how much you play.

Problem is, lvl 1 users can't download, so how to get the download file??

@@doctornachoz8099 I did end up getting level 2. However I do play in TLP. I know that it doesn't work on that server however how does the bot army on mangler use it? Asking because they have told me that they do use it.

It does work on the Rizlona TLP, but not mangler. Some of those big bot armies you see on other TLP server are run with custom programs or or key macros. You might try and see if EQBCS works over there because that would allow you to send commands to other toons in your group.

If I want to actively play 1 character, and run 5 other characters as if they were mercs, will I get in trouble on test server? I don't plan on leaving it run when I'm not around, I just don't want to have to play 6 characters, and official mercs are trash
