I love my Everse 12s! I did a wedding last weekend where my RCF Evox J8s and RCF sub where my main SYSTEM, but in a separate tent from where dinner was. I used one Everse 12 to fill the dinner area for music and announcements. 150 guests, and no issues covering the space. Music at lower volume sounded full and rich, and Toasts were easy to hear when people were speaking. Amazing speaker for what it is! It's not QUITE on par with a QSC K12.2...but it's close. And, you know...the whole battery thing. 😊

Used these as main speakers for DJ gigs. Most of my gigs are about (5) hours. Unfortunately my Everse 12's only lasted 3 1/2 - 4 hours on separate gigs. Luckily I had a power cable ready to go just in case.

Interesting something wrong with your unit, they’re rated upto 12 hours

For that application any advantage of the EV12 over adding more EV50's besides cost?

I've been waiting to pull the trigger on adding at least one E12 to my arsenal specifically with this type of application in mind. Seeing that you're sending signal to it using a Sennheiser unit has me completely sold on doing just that when the timing makes sense. Thanks MUCH for the review!

I have the 12, I did not know you could time delay in the app for a fill speaker. I will have to look at the app.

Would you say the Everse 12" has more kick/power than the ZLX 12"?

We’ve been using Bose S1and JBL Eon compacts for wedding celebrants. For any audience above 100, they start to struggle with no headroom. Even just for voice with a high pass filter. Are the Evolve 8’s much louder. It suggests so in the specs, but I’m interested in real world experience.

Yes, Everse 8 can sound much louder than JBL EON one compact which limits too quickly.

Did you use a senheiser receiver or xvive to send a signal across the room? Or hardwired with an XLR?

Sennheiser units.. but, have an XVIVE to do a test tomorrow on comparing three IEM systems!

Are you the remote speaker wirelessly, or XLR?

I am wireless with the audio jump... will be doing a demo tomorrow on three IEM systems.. I use Sennheiser, but will be testing that against two lower priced units.
