Finding fuel was the hardest for me and it was really risky to take on G&R ships to get them. So good to know where I can source them now.

I usually pull a bunch of enemy ships then fly back and hide behind an asteroid and scatter a bunch of mines Every time I start the game the G&B faction is automatically hostile but the Outlaws are friendly. I guess the reputation system works really well!

How do I use the Drone Dissassembler? Whenever i equip it just says N/A the entire time.

Hey ianjthor! The Drone Dissassembler can only be used when you have a drone targeted, and you also have to be in range of the targeted drone (the ranges are 800m, 1000m, 1200m for each respective mark). Then all you have to do is hit R to activate the device, and you'll instantly pop the drone like a loot piñata. Hope that helps!

Came here through steam review of everspace, you helped ne decide to get it. One crtique on the video itself. Your voice gets washed out by the ingame audio, especially if there is a spike in sound. Maybe use something like they have in radio that cuts other sounds by a percentage while you speak. (Subbed also)

Great tips, very useful, i recently got this game on Switch and am looking for any tips i can get. staying fueled is the hardest part so far and blowing up other ships to get fuel isn't working so well as you only get a very small amount and risk getting blown up in the process.

EVERSPACE 2 is too demanding and cannot be brought to the Switch, XBox One, or Playstation 4. It's coming to PC (Mac, Linux), XBox X|S, Playstation 5, and Steamdeck.

How do you upgrade between sectors??

This is a feature exclusive to the Hardcore game mode. When you die here, you start back from the beginning and lose all progress (whereas in the standard story mode your upgrades are permanent).

Really helpful video! Only criticism would be that I found myself constantly holding the volume control, turning it up to hear your voice, then blowing my eardrums out with the game sound! Still really great

Thanks for the game-play video! I recently purchased Everspace on the Xbox One and I'm absolutely hooked. I've been craving a good space shooter and by chance came across this game. I've been absolutely devouring this game and raving about it to all of my friends. For me, the "rouge-like"(I didn't even know that was a thing. Needed to look up that term) game-play has me coming back for more. I love games with randomized encounters. It just adds so much replay value and life to the game. Will there be any updates to the Xbox version of the game? I love the updated sound of the incoming missiles on the PC version. I'd love to have that on the Xbox version. I noticed that there are occasional frame rate issues when there is lots happening on screen. Additionally, the voice chatter gets cut out or glitchy. Thanks!

Glad to hear you're enjoying the game! I love procedural generation as well, and a lot of roguelites scratch that itch for me. You'll be pleased to hear the XBox is definitely getting updates. The team ran into some issues with the Microsoft Store but they are hard at work fixing what broke. A pretty big update should hit the XBox before the end of the year, and the upcoming DLC will be available on the XBox early 2018 (likely February).

It depends on your playstyle, really. My favorite ship is the Scout for its sheer mobility. Doesn't matter that it has a low hull since it can't get hit. Maybe I should make some ship overview videos?

Very good tips video, but sadly also the straw that convinced me to give up on Everspace. I was struggling, and this video showed me why. 4:08 Good tactic for the game's game play dynamics, terrible for dogfights. The ol' running backwards while shooting is something that modern shooters hopefully are running from. Perhaps if this game had the flight physics of the old Atari Asteroids that tactic would work, but as it is a spaceship relying on continually flying in reverse is perverse.

It was on sale for 6 bucks aud including the dlc and I’ve sunk in 20 hours already. As far as horrible games go by quality and gameplay this isn’t one of them.
