At 5:24 you can see some gates have been added to the SW wind brake frames - not sure I have seen those before. At 7:17, just before it went haywire, the appears to be sloping wind baffles on the top of the NW frame

I think a liberal scattering of matching existing grass seed would help the grass coverage particularly across both ends of the pitch

I don't know if you are aware, but there is an Everton/Laing O'Rourke banner in place over the centre tunnel (player's entrance) on the west stand, it looks they there maybe some kind of handover ceremony in the not too distant future
