Being the weird kid and a black sheep when this came out, I looked at this movie like little kids in the 50s looked at Peter Pan. I wanted to "go home", but it only existed on film.

Dr. Decker is one of the most underrated movie villains ever. He's very hateble while being scary. Cronenberg really shines in this movie.

Cronenberg's Mask scared the BLANK out of me as a kid, i only saw that 1 scene where he looks up at that kid but it stayed with me. Creepy Good Mask

Movie franchaise? How many movies are there? As far as I am concern, there's only 1 movie with alternative endings and cuts, but Nightbreed is only 1 movie, you need more than 3 to make a franchise or a saga.

You have a gew things wrong. 1. Boone never tried to commit suicide, this becomes apparent in the director's cut, Boone was hallucinating the whole time. 2. Narrciess describes Median has a city, not a cemetery, or city under a cemetery. 3. Bephomet has always been a God, has Peliqien describes him" Gods an astronaut". No animosity. Nightbreed is my favorite movie/Comic series, Cabal my favorite book.

Ultimate Cabal cut was a bit of a mess and shows how much of a movie is made in the edit. I always thought growing up the film would be completely different and a masterpiece. I read the novel specifically to read about what might have been cut out and was disappointed it was essentially the same narrative. Directors cut is the best version overall. Theatrical cut is a much shorter mess. It’s a good movie but no more which is a shame as I built this up in my mind.

I didn’t see this movie till recently but I thought it was funny how Boone tried to get into Midian and peloquin cusses him out then tries to kill him. Lori waltzes into Midian and he just hits on her and lets her go. He’s like the bouncer at a club lol
