Living paycheck to paycheck is an unfortunate truth for many americans. Starting a business could help. Being an entrepreneur and having a growth mindset outside the 9 to 5 could also help.

I learned that living below my means helped me to be humble and appreciative. I be feeling like I deserve more and I know that day will come. I do get frustrated but I also know that I have to be grateful and humble because even though I feel like it should be different, a lot of people would kill to be in the position that I’m in.l so if you’re reading this just know that it will be okay and everyone’s timeline is different so live YOUR life. Don’t be comparing your self to what others have

Everyone has to find a skill that doubles as a solo business, im talking, painting walls, fixing gardens, or even running a tiny cafe, planting salad greens, and not waiting for an employer to rule over us

This is true because the Reagan generation voted to get rid of pensions and replace it with the 401(k), and most people aren’t able to save nearly enough for retirement.

The reason why the market went crazy is because investment firms like Black rock got into the market and started buying but single family homes to rent out. All we need to do to fix this is make it illegal for investment firms with a worth of 100 million to own single family homes. They say 25-40% of all single family homes are getting bought by investment firms so like I said we make it illegal then the market will become affordable again. Owning a family home should be possible for everyone that’s working a decent job but right now you got to make $150k + just to afford the normal house. It’s crazy.

Get into security & go armed! There’s security jobs where you just watch cameras all day or sit in a car watching KZbin and movies all night 😂 it’s easy plus overtime is endless. People call out all the time. Stack your bread and get into corrections or police officer.

Currently trying to get into a police department . Just hit 6 months sober from weed. I've stayed sober for the sake of a better future. I'm 175 lbs of lean muscle . Simply waiting for a call. Looking to go from recruit , to gang unit / narcotics, and then work for a career in Special Weapons and Tactics

If you don't have a lot of money or a lot of skill or a lot of luck DON'T think of starting a business... you are going to end up in debt and then you won't be able to re-enter the workforce. There's a reason 88% of businesses fail. That doesn't even mean the 12% is rich most of them are barely surviving as well. I'm sorry to say your dad doesn't know what he is talking about. This isn't a fair game we are in 2024 where Fortune 500 companies REPRESENT two-thirds of the U.S GDP! I highly doubt anybody will crack that top 500 no offense. There hasn't been any new companies in the last 5-7 years for a reason. They are all dinosaur companies. YOU ARE GIVING OUT HORRIBLE ADVICE. If you aren't successful or built a successful business STOP GIVING ADVICE. Seriously.

I went self-employed as an insurance broker and ended up doing fine. It helps to have recurring revenue and to stay as lean as possible at first. Most people fail because of poor cash flow management in the beginning and they also don’t know how to generate leads and maintain pipeline. I recommend everyone atleast get some sales experience before going on your own. D2D roofing sales is what gave me the skill set to do well as an entrepreneur.
