In the beginning, the fire pit ensured that any suggestions were burned before Hop Pop even read them, because he assumed that they would be bad. At the end of the episode, the system he rigged up with Jeremy ensures that he can read the suggestions, and *then* burn them if they suck.

Your analysis of these episodes and going through the ranks make me realise, every character has come so far. They have so much character development, even with the less plot related characters. Enjoyed the list and your commentary, thanks for the video! Think we're all in agreement, whatever our personal opinions, that this show was the bomb and we were so blessed to have had it. With notes in particular to True Colours and the finale, it's rare in this age of Internet in fighting over what's good or not, for not only the fan base to so united on how good it was, but even those outside the community. Mad to think such a brilliantly crafted story ending comes a little show that started on a girl living with frogs. A real triumph and one of the best things Disney has put out in years. Matt Braly better get the kudos he deserves for this show going forward.

I recently rewatched season 1 and 2 of amphibia, and besides the finale episodes, All in, and Battle of the bands, season 2 episode 9 hopping mall was a hidden gem that really hit home for me. I vaguely remembered it from the first time watching, but I forgot how sad the ending was. Definitely one of my favorite spranne moments as well.

I'll be honest, at first, I didn't think much of Amphibia. It looked to me like just a discount Star vs, and Star vs was my least favorite of my favorite cartoons. Probably because there was only one season at the time, and so all we had was a bunch of one-off episodes and a bunch of stupid-looking Disney Channel ads highlighting the worst jokes in the show. And as a guy, I wasn't too excited about watching a show centered around a teen girl. But unlike the other Disney cartoon that premiered at the time, the premise didn't make me uncomfortable, so I decided to give it a watch. Then, as the story started to unfold, pieces started falling into place. The dots started to connect. And I started to realize just how much detail and effort were actually put into the show. Matt Braly clearly learned from his days under the master Alex Hirsch. This show has an insane level of foreshadowing, and dare I say, beating even Gravity Falls in that regard. And now that the story is complete, I put it up there in the "best of the best" tier. This show WILL stand the test of time, I have no doubt. I may have initially thought Amphibia would be the next Star vs, but it turned out to be the next Gravity Falls.

Despite indifference of the ranking episodes, the top 10 you chose is collectively one of the most emotional inducing of storytelling in this entire franchise. And honestly after the series end, I wanted to watch every single episode without skipping one. When a series ended in a beautiful note, you just want to see these characters again you love and see them grow. Actually, I did watch Amphibia again but with my sister, and she did not regret watching it as this is her favorite Disney channel show. Before this, we watched The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Aphibia and SVTFOE. Out of all of them, this is her favorite, that put a huge smile on my face.

The series finale ended in a month but I feel like I want more of this! When this show ended I got a bunch of slipknot albums 4 in total! I’ll never forget this beautiful show! Seeing this show end is like saying goodbye to your old friend! While getting into a new show feels like meeting a new friend you’ll always cherish. In one of Andria's books, it distinctly shows like 4 planets including Amphibia and Earth, I think one of those planets is the Boiling Isles, for me it doesn't make much sense to have both Amphibia and the Boiling Isles in the same world because of how both places don't influence each other much in both shows. And also the fact that both places would need to share the same moon... Which both shows use their own moons for pretty brutal things....

The Olms should have had a full episode dedicated to them. Maybe even two. It's such a big plot point, but the really cool looking city gets four minutes of screentime aside from the final scene. Mother of Olms should have been way less gross. Maybe it could have been the gang trying to navigate the Olm tunnels that the Olms have forgotten how to navigate.

Y'know, the episode "breakout Star" for me, is pretty clever in just the concept of the episode, the pimples on amphibians can be seen as warts, and considering that's part of many toad species, it makes sense that anne would become famous for them even so, it's just the concept, I understand why you don't like the episode and in my opinion, it's one of those that you simply skip In itself, something that I really like about amphibian is how it builds its world around insects and amphibians that already exist, it is something to appreciate

My least favorite episode and the only one I didn't really like was Contagi-Anne. Not only was it very obvious the Plantars were not going to die but apparently the "lesson" of the episode is to not to fake being sick to get out of something? Like, come on man, we are all forced to spend a big portion of our life to school/college/work so calling in sick every now and then will not make you a terrible person. It's a very dumb lesson honestly. It also seemed a bit harsh for Anne to learn the "lesson" by thinking her new family was going to die because she faked being sick. I felt bad for her lol

What I really loved about Amphibia is that it didn't shy away from darker themes or even colorful vocabulary. I'm a huge Owl House fan, but they're clearly avoiding "taboo" words, probably because they're already on thin ice because of LGBTQ+ rep. But Amphibia didn't shy away from the words "kill" and "death" unlike TOH which clearly avoids it by saying "disappear" instead.

I did A ranking before watching this video, and I am currently at little frogtown. I have now had 4 episodes be 60+ spots higher than you put them. Some of my favorite mid season, not super plot heavy episodes like Family Fishing trip, Hop pop and Lock, and Little Frogtown, are in the mid 90s on this list, but are sitting top 30 on my list. I have a strange history with this show, I started watching in 2021, and I fell in love with all the characters and their adventures, especially Marcy. But then I had to stop watching it after I got to the beginning of season 3, and oh my goodness I was devastated. I dreamt of coming back to it for months. And then, this month, I came back. I decided I would watch True Colors again, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t go through an emotional rollercoaster despite having practically memorized that episode, and then I went through season 3, and I adored every second of it. Darcy is my second favorite character aside from normal Marcy now, and I love all the calamity trio’s character arcs. I had to say goodbye to this show at one point, and it was the hardest thing to do, but I was pleasantly surprised that it found it’s way back into my heart

I completely agree with the episode True Colors being #1 because of three reasons. 1 the animation is so good, it's almost like you're there in real life. 2 the time of sprig being dropped and Marcy being stabbed is the only time a show had made me cry. 3 It made me think about my friendship and what I might be doing wrong, I thought after the episode maybe I'm neglecting some of my friends and should listen more.
