When there is a period of time where a Mac mini is faster/more capable in certain situations than a Mac Studio, that’s when you know the Mac Studio should have been updated already. And it’s not about fomo for existing owners. Whenever I fork out thousands of hard earned dollars on a new computer, I want the best value for that money I can get. From a consumer’s perspective, that value shouldn’t be determined by what time of year it is… or someone else’s plans for other products unrelated to my purchase. I just want the best available chip in the form factor most ideal to me.

Speaking of Face ID, and for the price we pay for them, why doesn’t all of their products have it available? And what’s the point of this new home command center tablet if we can already do that with our iPads and iPhones?

I really miss touch id. FAce id is good but it's kinda broke. Sometimes it doesn't work properly even if I look at it directly. Apple must bring it back to the iphones.

As a M2 Ultra Mac Pro owner, it's the graphics with the Studio and Mac Pro. Its still so much better than my MacBook Pro M4 Max. MP and Studio will become 2 year upgrade cycles as you can see over 2 years, the Max wont beat the Ultra. If they do a 3 year cycle, it will. Looks like they have it planned and scaled that way now.

All I care about from Apple is getting a foldable iPhone, that’s the top product I’d love to own and buy in an instant. Otherwise, AirPods Pro redesign would be nice to see. A consumer Vision device would be cool to see, not sure whether I’d still want to buy one.

Apple users are surely one of the dumbest markets. To encourage and promote apple putting out 'upgrades' (for profits) in such short succession. If M5 is coming out with 12mths of M4, then it would be a mindless decision to buy an M4 product in 2025. Apple should create a buyback upgrade program. Bring in your old device (iMac, Studio, Pro etc) and get a latest model for 25% less discount. This creates a better marketplace where users are cared for, run the best gear and apple can recycle their products economically.

What’s the bug up your ass? Want to say Merry Christmas, say Merry Christmas. Want to say Happy Holidays? Say Happy Holidays. To me, they’re the same thing because they’re said in the same context.. a wishing of good feelings. If it were really tied to religion, you have a point. Secular Christmas and religion parted ways a long time ago. Happy Holidays is a bit more inclusive which is why I tend to use it.. but if someone wished me Happy Hanukkah, I’d treat it the same as Merry Christmas. Virtue signaling should be past.
