Same. I loved House of Salt and Sorrows but House of Roots and Ruin was so much better. Definitely gonna reread both in autumn this year. I have to read Small Favours too.

The Diviners is SO GOOD, its good all the way through as well! A Good Girl's Guide to Murder--one of my favorite YA thrillers. I LOVED the whole series. I started tracking my series, and mine's out of control, I'm not even going to tell you the number!

Yes! The third Housemaid book I think, might actually be my favorite. Book 2 was a little weak for me but still a good time. And you absolutely MUST continue with the Nevernight series. It's my favorite fantasy series of all time and boy do those last two books take you on a journey.

@@livslibrary Oh yeah. I was full on sobbing at my desk in book three just because I was a wreck over what could happen with my babies. It was so, so good. Mia is so badass and Jay Kristoff's humor is perfect. I hope if you continue you love them!

LOVE starting out with a bang! I'm also on the "Will I ever finish Throne of Glass/ACOTAR series?" I read Throne of Glass and started Crown of Midnight, but I got maybe a 4th of the way through and stopped reading it... that was back in October 2015😅 I then picked up ACOTAR back then as well and only made it about 30ish pages too. I still own some books from each series for that moment of maybe just maybeee I'll get back into someday haha. Also House of Salt and Sorrows definitely surprised me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! There's a signing event at a library near me for House of Roots and Ruin so now I'm considering going to that to pick up this book after your pitch. I do have commitment issues with following through with book series. I've started picking up more graphic novels/comics and standalone to help with my commitment issues haha

The best part of the signing was when she handed out envelopes that had these BEAUTIFUL artwork cards for each of the books that I had signed (House of Salt and Sorrows and House of Roots and Ruin)! 10/10 would highly recommend attending a signing/event with her! 🙂

Hi Liv! I loved TOG so much. I read a book a month last year except when I tandem read Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn. As far as series I want to read- there are actually several series I want to start & finish this year. Crescent City, Spark of the Everflame, and Powerless are all priorities. You should focus on Tog and I will focus on CC- then we can message our thoughts for motivation lol.

maybe if you're having issues with reading AGGGTM try the British editions? I believe the US editions changed quite a few things and made the reading experience less enjoyable (or at least that's what I've heard from others!)
